My typical enema is 2500 cc. or 2.6 quarts, my comfort zone. I've done another 1000 cc for a total of almost 3.7 quarts. There have been a very few times I made it to a gallon, the most memorable was during a visit to Mildred Burgess in Boston. Deeply inserted colon tube and I easlily drained the two quart bag she was using. She asked if I could take more, I said I could, so she filled the bag with a pitcher and I took it all pretty easily, but with a lot of stomach massage that I found very arousing.
I felt quite full at that point, Mildred asked if I could take more, but I declined, although looking back I think I could have. I really enjoyed it, but it was beyond my comfortable capacity, and for the rest of the day I urinated frequently, so I abosrned a lot of water which may have been why I held so much. That was the only enema I have ever had that resulted in that much urination.
The most I have witnessed was a friend trying to win the capacity contest at the Las Vegas E-Fest in 2000, she drained, in front of witnesses, nearly 2 1/2 of the Artsana enema containers or 2500 cc x 2.5 = 6250 cc or 6.6 quarts, only to come in second to a very large male who got to 7500 cc, just short of 2 gallons (8 quarts). I think he could have taken more, he said he had in the past, but he had won the contest.
I know these numbers sound excessive, but there were witnesses,
Prior to the contest my friend had not eaten since breakfast, and mid afternoon I gave her a series of enemas, starting with a castille soap solution. By the last enema in preparation she was as clear as if she had been purged for a colonoscopy, all enemas, no laxatives.
To this day my friend finds it difficult to believe she took that much, and had I not seen it I would not be a believer.
Recently she had a colonoscopy and followed the prep procedure without using any enemas, her doctor told her she was not well prepped! Next time she is scheduled she said she will skip the purgative and clean with enemas.
I've always prepped with enemas and always had a squeaky clean colon, last time I took the first dose of Golytely and followed with a series of very pleasurable enemas, felt like I had all bases covered. I go back to the Barium Enema days when the prep was just enemas, and at one clinic everyone got a cleansing enema about half an hour before the procedure. Oh, the good old days.
Wonder what would have happened if I had taken the rest of the Golytely in an enema? I bet somebody has tried it.
