The rare red bush, take off from the endearing Disney movie “Where the Red Fern Grows”, Ginger, Kitty, Puss puss, Pussy, Treasure trove.
When I lived with my grandmother, she called it a stinky. When it was bath time, she would say, "make sure you wash your stinky" . I thought I must have smelled all the time, even though I was washing it. She died when I was little so I never got the chance to ask her about why she called it that. It took me a while to get that word out of my head but I never said that out loud to anyone.I now think the medical terms, vulva and vagina when thinking about it since I still don't discuss it when anyone. My mother never discussed it either. Even though my aunt took me to my first gynecologist appointment, she didn't tell me a doctor would examine my vagina. The nurse told me when she gave me a gown.
When I am speaking clinically: anatomical termsWhen I am speaking sexually, “clit,” “lips,” “pussy,” “ass.”
@CassieST In France there is a derogative term for a prepubescent girl, “pisseuse”, which would translate as “feminine person who pees”. I think this is an allusion to the idea that their genitals would smell of pee, perhaps due to lack of proper wiping or washing. Maybe your grandmother had the same kind of idea.
It seems to be an old question and with very various answers according to areas from the world. To speak in anatomical words, the vagina is the female organ joining the vulva to the uterus cervix. In France, to designate the whole sex area of a woman, we usually call it "La chatte". I hate this word and never use it. Never really knew the correlation between a female sex and a cat!...
If I'm taking just generally I say "privates" or "sex" otherwise I use the specific medical terms, vagina, clitoris, labia, etc. i don't like crude talk much and I cringe when someone says cunt or especially gash or slit.
Kitty.@EnchantedAmethyst , by all indications, no doubt a beautiful “kitty”! I bet she even purrs when stroked properly! 😉😁
Still haven't forgotten a lady years back who referred to her vagina as her ''fun factory'! Sadly I never got any fun there.
My wife calls it a woo , short for women. She doesn't like the word cunt , and thinks the word pussy is vulgar.
I’ve been raised to call the area down there by their names, but I call them with my friends, my girl parts and with my family I use correct terms.
I am Brazilian and we used the words pepeca, xana, buceta or bucetinha. Also nice - these designation's for women's special parts -, in " portugese " -, i would think, but also unknown for me, as a german speaker !!Other countries, other languages, but all of it names the interessant parts of the women erotical zones !!Kindly regards from germany !!

As @Vanna88 I call it “patata” “patatina” (potato or little potato). It’s an Italian nickname to call vagina
@sofia6969 @vanna88 An intriguing term… or perhaps it is a reference to a cooked potato, which is sliced open?
As others here have said, it really does depend on the person in which I am talking about it with.In medical or professional scenarios, it is always my vulva, my labia, my clitoris, my vagina, etc. With my partner it is either my cunny or my Jay Jay or my pussy. On special occasions with my partner it has been called “my daddy’s hole”.
Frankly, most words for it sound either too formal or too vulgar. We don’t have an equivalent of “dick”. Pussy has always been my default. That word at least sounds somewhat playful.
@PutMeInTheCorner It's true. I prefer to err on the formal side, though. My wife does not said "bite", which would translate to "dick", and instead uses "verge" ("rod"), which is less clinical than "pénis". 'Chatte" ("pussy") is a bit too vulgar… In most cases, she does not say "cul" ("ass") and prefers "fesses" ("buttocks").
My friends(both male and female) and I unironically say "Vagooba" after it stuck in our slang usage for over a decade hehe
My friends(both male and female) and I unironically say "Vagooba" after it stuck in our slang usage for over a decade hehe@AzureJuniperNYC how did vagooba come about? Is there a story, behind that?
Pussy, or just... intimate parts. Lady bits.I also refer to it as a she, because it's an inherently female thing.
