Not me. In fact, if you were in my house, there's a possibility that's how you would see me dressed.

And of course, i'm not even embarrassed wearing only a jockstrap during an exam.

With all the medical procedures I've had over the years, I do not get embarrassed if I'm naked, much less wearing underwear. I've never had a female doctor; but, plenty of nurses, techs, and aides have seen me either naked or had to lift the sheet covering my dick in order to do whatever work needed done.

I had a physical where I wore only disposable exam shorts, but that was conducted by a male doctor. I was far more physically uncomfortable than I was embarrassed since the room was chilly and the shorts were itchy.

I was examined by a female doctor for a skin exam. Even though I wore both underwear and a gown, there were plenty of times where the gown was lowered into my lap or pulled up above my underwear. Again, I wasn't really embarrassed having her see me in my underwear, but this exam was more invasive and had multiple parts where my underwear was lowered partially or completely and for a longer time than I was used to.

The nudity is the aspect that feels foreign, not being in underwear.

Being seen by a female doctor in my underwear is a non-issue for me, although one place, perhaps because of how the doors opened onto the hall, had me put a gown on over it.

No for me. I actually am UIC and wear diapers 24/7. I have seen both male and female doctors with my diaper and plastic pants on... I do feel awkward the first time, but I get over it !!!!

Not at all, but if I'm being examined by a female I know she can't help but see my erection while examining me!

Growing up, I never cared. I spent every summer day at the beach so wearing just bottoms/boxers wasn't a huge deal.

It hasn't happened in real life, but in play doc situations it's the only way I do it. Being in just my underpants is exciting, and of course pulling them down is even more so!

Keep in mind, my underwear is diapers.

I feel like I wouldn't be embarrassed in this situation, but I've been changed a lot and I feel like I've sort of lost my modesty because of that.

If I'm sitting on the exam table wearing nothing but my underwear then yes, I feel embarrassed, at least somewhat. Of course I also feel some level of embarrassment when I am sitting there with nothing on but an exam gown or even with my pants on and shirt off. Probably for me, the more skin exposed at the moment, the higher the level of embarrassment. Of course this varies greatly depending on the circumstance and even my mood from day to day. Doesn't matter much whether it is a male or female doctor.

I hate being shirtless, as I always get cold. I rather have a t shirt on and nothing below the waist than the other way around.

Unless I'm comfortable with the people I'm with and certainly not at the hospital or a doctor's office

Honestly, its much less embarassing than the gown for me; I prefer to strip down to my underwear and wait for the doctor. I take a little time that day to select the right underwear as well, although they have never commented on it.

I’m a straight male, with mostly male docs except ophthalmology. If the room temp is warm enough, I’m perfectly happy in my briefs.

As to the question - embarrassment in underwear during exam by a female doctor? I wear good clean dark blue boxers and not embarrassed about that, but should she catch a peek of my pecker, then yes very embarrassed because it is so very small. I have a grower that almost disappears when flaccid, despite being normal size when it does come to life.

Never embarrassed. The only feelings of waiting in underwear are anxiousness or sometimes just cold.

I don't think I would be embarrassed but I have never had a female doctor other than an anesthesiologist or two. I'm kind of old fashioned about that.

I've only had a physical exam done by a female doctor once when I was a teenager, the rest have always been male doctors. I didn't feel embarrassed during most of the exam. During the genital part of the exam I think I felt a little awkward, but it wasn't bad or embarrassing.

Being in underwear shouldn’t be embarrassing at all, whether a male or female doctor. You have the same exposure or more at the beach.

To me, underpants, especially tighty whities, are kinda sexy to just be wearing alone, but I have rarely been in just those, usually have a gown on too (and, also, gown and no underpants) in exam situations. Embarrassment is part of the turn on in exams, for me--so the short answer is yes, but bring it on… 😉

I've never understood the idea of putting on a gown and also keeping your underwear on at the same time. There's really no point in doing both. Either way, gown or underwear, you're covered up, so why do both?

If I feel embarrassed during an exam it is because I am not feeling well. Why is the assumption that we should feel ashamed of our bodies and why would modesty matter at all?

When I have a physical I like to wear bright colored underwear, like red, rather than black or grey. For some reason it feels a bit embarrassing to be seen in bright red undies, which is a bit of a thrill.

Perhaps keep your socks on too then?

No issue for me as well! As a matter of fact, I love … and anticipate … being stripped down to my underwear as I wait for the doctor's knock!

I don't feel any embarrassment being in only underwear in front of Dr male or female. As a kid I was always undressed down to my underwear at my yearly physical.

@JimmyJohnson, consider the opportunities for your clinician to undress you in stages if you have both a gown and underpants on. Might add to the excitement. I actually would PREFER to just be in underpants, but I just do what I'm told by (usually) the nurse, and more often than not, that was “go ahead and get undressed, down to your underwear…here's a gown to cover up with…”

Yes i feel embarrassed in just underwear, the same as just shorts, or just swimming trunks, not because of nudity in inself, or whether it is a male or female medic, or of being seen in underwear, but because i dont like that i am not slim anymore
