Often times my wife's pee tastes what I call "normal" - just warm, of course a little salty, and with a quality I find hard to describe... A slightly earthy or nutty taste? But as I write that, neither one captures the exact taste - maybe it's a metallic taste?. Oh, and there's a very very slight oily texture or feel on my tongue after it goes down. Sadly those times are rare - typically it's very salty, sometimes quite bitter due to various meds she may take before bed. Sometimes it really stings my eyes, other times not. And there have been times when it's nearly tasteless. I prefer to find it with some taste rather than none. As we both get older she's starting to experience small leaking accidents from coughing, a strong sneeze or laughing too hard. As she's rushing to the bathroom holding her crotch she grins and uses the phrase that roughly translates to "my zipper isn't quite closed".. Riding in the car if she says she HAS to go pee or poo I always offer my cupped hand with a grin - ah, maybe someday.
My own is generally darker (not enough intake, I know, I know!), but the taste is much more consistent. I had my own first accident a couple weeks ago.. Walking the dog around the block, I felt the NEED when I was only halfway around. I tried to rush and hold it. Of course having to watch the mutt stop and sprinkle every single thing protruding up out of the ground wasn't helping. We burst through the side gate racing to reach the backyard my intention was to let fly on a tree.. But two steps inside the dam let go and I soaked myself. It felt so damn good and "bad" at the same time. I removed and wrung out my sopping pants and underware and entered the kitchen back door laughing and carrying them. Of course my wife's surprise and laughter brought on her own episode.
