I’m a fan of old-school. Mine are the old type, kind of a dull turquoise color. My brother in law used to work as a technician in a hospital and would frequently forget to return scrubs at the end of his shift. I acquired a decent collection of scrubs with the hospitals name poorly stamped on the tops and bottoms. They are the good old cotton ones that you almost cannot find anymore.
I love the classical OR scrubes in blue/green for the doc/nurse. Maybe white scrubs are also cool but feels like like OR. For patients definitely a gown either blue or white, not too long to give the patient not too much privacy :-)
I like bluee gowns. Especially that bright blue. I like the blue paper scrubs. I like the green cotton . Especially if they're worn out because I wore those a number of times in hospitals. And I red scrubs when I'm the dr
To update my response from many years ago, I really like the more typical scrub colors of greens and blues. I do like nurses in white dresses. I don't have an issue with all the solid colored scrubs, but I'm not as big of a fan of the prints. And no black!
I like dark blue scrubs and blue masks the most.I also like white latex gloves or light blue nitrile gloves. For me it is quite exciting when the doctor puts his gloves on. Imagine these "snapping" noises aa he pulls them tightly around his wrist.
For patients, Stanford starts you out with a half-mask cartridge respirator (3M 6001, maybe? With #2091 pink pancake filter cartridges on each side). Since the OP specifically alluded to nursing and maybe surgery by mentioning scrubs, I'll bring this back around and say that I'm not sure I've ever seen a surgeon or nurse be fitted with a half-mask cartridge respirator, but I could see that for a huge outbreak, like for SARS back in '03.Actually in the last several months, because of the failure of the PPE supply chain for obvious reasons, I have seen a few doctors and nurses wear the half mask cartridge respirators. Somehow this strikes me as better than having to deal with the donated cloth masks, but I'd have t refresh my memory. It's been 1999 or so since I took industrial hygiene at university. On amazon, all of a sudden, it seems like there's every color of the rainbow as far as the typical pleated, earloop surgical masks you see everywhere. That's pretty intriguing. I guess it depends on the girl's outfit which color of those I'd like. Red might go well with a sailor dress and tights (especially if they were red), or red footed pajamas. Black is still a favorite, though. Actually both of those colors are pretty severe, which I like.
I work the front desk in a clinic for 2 days a week by sharing a job, it is all I want so it does me well. For the ones out front we wear Royal Blue scrubs, if we choose to wear long sleeves they must be a cranberry red. Any color shoes we want.
About scrubs and gowns — white definitely. that's the traditional color of medical clothing In my country, especially when Russia was the USSR, I think you get me. and for some reason I like it the most. or it can be light blue.and about masks — the same. I'm too keen on white cotton masks. I don't know whether they're used in your countries, but they're widely used in my one even in medical sphere. 😃
I prefer to wear black or blue (dark or light) scrubs and a white lab coat when I am the doctor.I prefer nurses wear teal, pink, mint, or maroon scrubs.Caps, I prefer the disposable blue. Masks, always white. Gloves, white or black, but always long and tight.
I prefer green or blue, cold color is for medecine, sometimes black or white.. Or even Red for fetish..And for matter, do you like vinyl or cotton ones?
I love dark green. I have always liked to watch vintage movies with difficult child birth scenes and this is the favourite colour of doctors in the delivery room
I used to say navy blue until I worked somewhere and that was all we could wear. My current favorite scrubs are burgundy.
