Most embarrassing age

Prepubescence and adolescence can be very difficult but much of that depends on the doctor. If a teen is visiting a doctor for yearly checkups then it is all about dialog. It is important for the provider to discuss bodily, sexual, psychological and social changes along with what may or not be wrong during this period of growth. My doctor did have those conversations with me. Never treat a patient like a pork chop on a meat rack.

For myself I don't remember getting embarrassed when I was younger, in my teens. When I was in my twenties I was having to go get employment physicals done. This is the age when I started to feel embarrassed about having to be exposed for the doctor.

Mine must have been when I was 12 and was given a gown for the first time and told to strip down to underwear.

Had to be 14 or 15 form me. I was a very late bloomer, I think it had alot to do with how my mother vived me and treated me. I was nerve given any privacy at home, baths accurate temps and the bag were the norm. Some little boys just never grow up

For me, there is no such age as being a late bloomer and questionable in my puberty development, I understand the necessity of it, more so than some others. So, it didn't matter much that I had to fully strip for it at 13, had my balls rolled in doctor's hand, and a few stroke on the penis (to test its responsiveness/sensitivity --- I didn't get hard though).

In general i would say the puberty years. I was late in puberty development so i got very shy, when all my friends started to have changing bodies and mine still looked preteen.

I have felt embarrassed at RL exams at many different ages in my life, as it sort of was due to a particular doctor doing or not doing something or in a particular situation during the exam process. I have written about many of these situations in other posts I have made. However, I think the times during puberty were among the most embarrassing as well as when I received my first prostate exam. I am a great advocate for explaining to children just before they enter puberty as to what will be happening to their bodies before it happens. I truly believe that would help them understand better and might eliminate some of their traumatic embarrassment when it does actually happen and they don't understand what is going on. I wish "the talk" had been given to me before entering puberty so I would have been better prepared as to what would be happening to my body.

I would say between 12-14 when a girl is really starting to develop. That's how it was for me anyway.

Embarrassing for me was not about my age; but about an era - in the 1990 when I was doing full body shaving, and back then men shaving their bodies hadn't become acceptable like it is today. So being seen at the doctor's with my shaved body was very embarrassing.

I would say teen years because my step mother insisted on being present until I turned 16. She even watched the genital exam and hernia check and forced me to go to my step sisters female pediatrician because it was “more convenient” for her.
