So, to answer the question, I did experiment with girls when I was a teenager and I liked it. It was different than with boys and in the end, I do prefer sex with men but women still provide a welcome and very enjoyable experience.

At least thinking about the possibilities of sexual orientation is probably the norm as one goes through puberty. Then it gets tricky.

But people develop at different speeds, and I do worry about how to distinguish experimentation, which is fine in my book, from being pressured by people who have formed an opinion about their own sexuality and don't have the wisdom to allow others to make a different choice.

And gayness way back then was considered some dirty filthy queers infected with diseases that lurked in dark corners trying to attack young boys. I think that boys experimenting with other boys when young has been a normal part of growing up for many of us.
