I have both classic earloop masks and tie on masks but i dont like a lot of tie on masks because i cant find to make ties on that masks to fit on my face sometimes the mask gets off, and with this i found more easy to use the earloop masks
I think it depends on the procedure: loop are more common in dental, and tie-on in surgery. I prefer my doctor in a white tie-on.
I most often will use a white mask with earloops, but I do enjoy the look of a tie-on and the act of tying the mask or having a nurse do so for me. However, I feel like earloop masks are easier to get ahold of.
There is no substitute for the Kimberly Clark N95 FluidShield Surgical Mask. I have only ever seen the mask in salmon color. That's my favorite. The with dual head straps and the pouch type front it is so deep you can't even French kiss it to lick the inside of the mask.
Ooh, "pouch". I haven't heard that term. I've heard "duckbill" (part of my moniker on here), which I thought included those ones that are salmon (or less commonly other pastel colors) on top and white on the bottom, and with two rubber bands meeting at the same attachment point. I saw an article on a girl visiting a zoo after a transplant and she wore one of those with her normal clothes. It was Kimberly-Clark, but not with the FluidShield visor.Tbt, those plastic shields aren't my thing (you just don't see immunosuppression/allergy patients wearing them. But I see how they increase the authenticity of certain medfet exams.

OK, my bad. I was thinking of those plastic, clear eyeshields that sometimes attach to the top of a mask. Not a fan of those.
Oooh! I like a variety. Halyard has some of the most that I like.. shield, no-shield.. both tie-on and good quality earloop, different colors too. Blue, lavender, orange, pink ,green, etc. I even have some earloop masks with face-shields from them, that have TEDDY BEAR print on the mask. Hehe. 😃
I'm more into gas masks, respirators and all of this stuff when anybody begins to talk about medical masks.

Hehe. 😃In this recent era of ours, Amazon has been selling a crazy selection of colors and designs of disposable earloop surgical masks. Black ones, orange ones, red, dark green, volt even. And with all sorts of patterns. I saw a girl wearing one that was dark green with some sort of Christmas motif.
I’ve made a post before about how I’ve never been in an operating room, but thanks to COVID, surgical masks are now popular outside of them; my doctor wears a white paper mask with ear loops. It’s become “normal,” but at first, it was a little intimidating, at least to me.
I like to use KN95 masks now over the rest. They are easy to put and its possible to put earloop mask over it for more protection
