When out on the job and away from home, time is limited and timing is everything, it seems. So proper hydration gets ignored and elimination gets complicated. More often as not, a quicky flush does not work and i had to improvise.
The unique part is wasted afterward, don't leave it behind.
Looking at home Colonic board designs, i made a splash guard out of a gallon distilled water jug. I wanted to manage a motel room treatment. Here's the plans for this extra simple arrangement to allow many fills and flushes. ( not for ladies )
Cut the entire top off of a plastic gallon water jug.
Make a slit down one side near to the bottom.
Working left and right separate half the bottom from the sides.
If you were to put this on your head it would look like a goofy ___make shift rain hat with lateral blinders.
With the potty lids up,, Use duck tape to fasten it to the back of the pot's bowel.
Bring a chair facing to the pot.
Straddle the pot, facing the wall tank.
Sit on the edge of the bowel, facing the tank, and let it support your pelvis. lean or lay back as the chair supports your back.
Scoot under the jug bottom, which now protrudes a little bit like the bill of a baseball cap.
The jug will serve to keep your splashes going into the pot.
This will take some practice to get it going satisfactory and you will probably have to waste the first splash guard only to start over. ( was a 5 foot 10 inch steeple jack / electronic tech., me ) This will maybe only work for the desperate, but once success is accomplished, you will meet the day's tasks relieved and rested. The room will not smell right, but no mess for the cleaning staff.
I'm cheap, as you can tell. But i liked to leave a significant tip for those that might have trouble with the out-house smell.
Look at the photos on my profile page. There are plans for using a milk jug in place of a water bag.
