I was thinking of changing doctors, and went to a small, solo practice near my work.
The nurse called me back, and i hadn't been seen by a doc in a couple of years, so i assumed that it would be one of these ok, strip to *at least* your shorts from the start.
She had me to slip off everything above the waist, did the temp, bp, pulse, and said the doctor would be right in. I asked her about the pants, and she said to just hold off,...stay just like that.
The doctor entered, an older gentleman, and he took my history, and began the exam, with me just sitting there with topless.
He was asking the typical questions, and when he got to the end of the torso exam, he had me lie back, and unbuckled my belt, opened the waistband and did the abdominal exam. He then turned, and i saw he was getting the gloves, and heard the telltale *snap*, and he turned around, and instructed me to drop my pants, and then i was standing there, with both pants and shorts down.
The normal shaft/sac/hernia check was completed, and i was shocked that he told me ok, end of the table, and bend.
I proceeded to go to the end of the table, bend, and grab the sides. However, have you ever tried walking with that much around your ankles? We finished the exam, and i went back to him a couple of more times when i was ill,... but we had an understanding. I always stripped after that!
