I was just wondering this for some time, and thought I'd pose the question to you all here.
How many of you think you were babied, or treated in a babyish way on a regular basis well pasted the age of when this would be appropriate.
I think we all can say, on some occasions we felt we where not treated our age. And more then likely, we weren't acting our rightful age either.
I'm not talking about those occasions, or time to time run ins. I mean, on a regular basis being made to feel like a baby.
Things like, how you were dressed, did you sleep in a big bed, were you spoken to in baby talk, not given any big kid responsibilities, not permitted to dress yourself, always watched over (overprotected), made to use baby items even though you really didn't need to. I think you get the picture?
Did this treatment last long? Did you notice other people commenting on how babyish you were still being treated? Did other friends and family join in on this treatment?
This could be a very broad topic I'm sure, but lets hear from you.
I'm wondering if you got treated in this sort of a way, if you also think it contributed to you being an AB or DL?
This brings the Toys R Us jingle to mind. "I don't want to grow up, I'm a Toys R Us kid", LOL!
Well, let me hear what you have to say.
