I've finally found a good woman who will provide me with fresh and frozen breastmilk for the next few months. I've been drinking breast milk on and off for the last three years or so. Since the amount of milk produced by a woman is limited to at most a litre a day (30 some ounces) and she will have to feed her baby as well, most women will only provide frozen milk that she has left over. Eventually mothers wean off their babies, and they stop pumping.
However, I've felt like I've gone the other direction. I've started drinking more and more milk in recent years. All my life I've had the fantasy of becoming an unweaned baby, with a pure breast milk diet.
Breast milk has all the nutrients for a growing baby, but it might not be balanced for adults - in any case, I'll find out 😃
The milk comes in 6 - 8 ounce bags, and I have 2 bags per feeding. I'd like to feed more often throughout the day, but defrosting times (defrost in a bath of hot water, never in the microwave) narrows that down to maybe 3 or 4 times a day. All in all, I need about 36 to 50 ounces a day (about 1 to 1.5 litres) of breast milk to feel satiated.
I'm not sure if my mother can provide me with that much milk, but I've had great success with blended milks from two mothers. It tastes great!
