Like few people here my doctor does wipe me and then hand tissue but there is always some left its one of the feelings i find least pleasant about it when going home
My GYN has never wiped me. Usually wipe with paper gown before putting my panties on. I once had a surprise rectal from my GP..She wiped me gently and thoroughly.
Why don't you ladies bring a pantie liner with you and use it after the exam to absorb any leakage? That or a couple of kleenex we normally keep in a purse.Really Stephen, do you want this thread to die???We have to keep the responses more complex than the actual solution. ๐ ๐
My wife's old Dr would wipe the KY off, he was a GP and he always did a rectal on her. Her current Dr is a GYN she doesn't wipe and does not do rectal exams on her. Go figure. I like to feel the leftover lube after her exams
My doctor leaves the wiping to me. There are tissues and pads available on the counter to wipe with. I usually don't wipe. I love the squishy feeling of my lubed up vagina (and if I am lucky, rectum) and how it leaks and sticks to my panties. Sometimes I have to stop in the ladies room to run my fingers through my lubed slit and masturbate.
Most practitioners will simply offer patient tissue to wipe off excess lubricant. Some may go as far as offer wet naps/body wipes.
I use the paper drape and squat on the floor to wipe the lube off. I even push some paper drape into my vagina to get as much lube as possible. It is icky sticky and continues to leak out and stick in my panties all day.My Dr uses surgilube, lots of it. i have never had a rectal exam, thank goodness because he has very large fingers that are uncomfortable during the internal exam. He uses an extra small metal speculum on me.
OK, I'm not a female, but for us guys, it's the rectal exam that uses lube. Only once or twice has the doctor wiped me off. Usually, they just place a box of tissues nearby. Same thing with my recent cystoscopy, just a box of tissues to clean up with.
Neither a physician or a nurse should ever wipe the lubricant off of a woman following a gyn exam. While in school learning 'this stuff' I learned it is not considered kosher for the doctor or nurse to wipe you (unless you don't have arms). You are to be offered tissues. The lube melts when it comes in contact with the heat of the body leaving a woman feeling slimy/sticky. If you're not offered anything, use the paper gown prior to dressing. The doctor should leave after the exam giving you time to get dressed and then return. If your practitioner is wiping you, you have a pervert for a doctor/nurse.
My wife's old GP ( male) would make one wipe from top to bottom with tissue after a pelvic exam. Her new female gyno doesn't at all and doesn't use nearly as much lube. He had big fingers and always did a rectal so I guess that's why he used lots of lube
ONE quick wipe is acceptable after an exam. After all, they were inside a second ago. It's the reverse of the one wipe putting the lube on.
I would like to see a picture take immediately after the doctor leaves the exam room showing the excess lube before it is wiped off. Anybody have one they are willing to share?
Last smear test the nurse removed the speculum but before the usual vanish behind the curtain so you can get dressed, she had a tissue and did a quick wipe which I was not expecting. First time it has happened. Now in my 40s have had a few smears including straddling the period where they went from just warm water on the spec to now when they put lubricant them so assume this may be a new part of the procedure now KY is involved. Will see at my next one.Lisa
GF said the dr wipes off the lube after she has finished the rectal and the dr uses baby wipes to clean the lube off...
I've never had a doc wipe off the lube for me. They usually hand me a roll of toilet paper or point to where it is setting and I do it myself after they've left.
