It depends; some do, some don't but even the ones who do, don't do an adequate job, so I either finish it myself, or wait until the appointment is over and go to the bathroom.

@SwitchableSusie : Sure, or some may want a more tender touch. It wasn't a criticism, just my experience that whether they wipe or not, I end up doing it myself anyhow.
Doctors never wipe me themselves. They either give a roll of paper towel, or they say to use the paper that was on the bunk. They retire to do administrative work during this time.
He discretely rolls off his glove and disposes it. As for my rosebud, he doesn't wipe me but also doesn't make a mess. Strangely, he doesn't offer a kleenex nor is one handy. So I just put on my briefs. The residue will leave a slight stain but nothing that saturates my briefs. It is a reminder of what was done and depending on my plans could be a nice starter for me to later relieve myself. One time, I had been asked to sit back wait for him to go over something. Then, I did manage to saturate my briefs and left a small spot on the paper. It was an embarrassing moment I felt. Then again, I tried to imagine how I would feel if I had come into the room and saw that mark on the paper!
At the urologist office, the doc does the wiping, although I haven't been to the urologist in several years. The colon & rectal surgeon also does the wiping. At my annual physicals with my primary care physician, there is no wiping. Lube is left there.
I would think that they would hand out a box of Kleenex, for the patient. That’s how it was after a prostate exam, back in the day.
Every once in a while the doctor or nurse assistant will wipe. Otherwise they will give me a box of tissues for me to do it myself.
My wife reports that she is given a few wet wipes by the nurse practitioner after the bi-manual. Sadly no rectal for her 😢
My current OB-GYN keeps a box of tissues and a container of wet wipes on the counter that he offers to me after the exam is complete.
A few doctors have when I was younger and inexperienced of the procedure. Nurses are not common in the GP surgery, but I also have private insurances exams where they are present and some do. I felt a bit strange when I first started having them as I would have to wipe myself with the examiner watching, it felt like peeing in public.
The dr wipes some then the nurse always says help yourself to the wet wipes on the counter. I always do after they leave the room.
My urologist gives me a kleenex to wipe myself after he does a rectal. I might leave the lube on there next time as a memory of getting a rectal exam
Current urologist puts a box of tissues on thetable.I I don't care for that, as he is watching and I get messy. He usually opens the door and leaves the room while I am still wiping.. if I can see people in the hall they can see me!My old PCP (male) used to take one good swipe down the middle and got most of it. The PCP before that (female) took her good old time giving me a thorough cleaning. I'm not sure that is proper procedure, but I wasn't going to complain!
My current urologist puts a box of tissues on table, but I Always feel like he is watching me wipe off because at that point my pants are down around my ankles after whiping I have to bend to pull up pants and underwear.
I always happily clean up my wife every time, and all the girl friends prior…. Have to love and support each other through everything!!
The two exams I’ve been too tissues were provided to the patient to wipe with. One of them I got to wipe lol.
My lady always comes home wearing a panty pad after her yearly doctors visit. She said that the nurse always supplies her with one when the exam is over, as she gets dressed. She made a comment once that wearing one again felt like it did when she was a young girl. Being a tampon user during her menstrual days, she said it felt like wearing a diaper.
