What do you prefer: foot stirrups or knee rests?

We have Kee Rests 90% most of the time here so u gota take what u get

I've never been in knee rests, only foot stirrups (for enemas).

I like foot stirrups mostly because I leave my heels on and and hook them in the stirrups which keeps my feet from kicking something (or the doctor) if I jump when he examines me.

Always knee rests is the usual in Portugal, but I would like to try foot stirrups...

Hi to all just joined the site today and what a site it is , I thought that I was on my own out there but now see that med fet is still going strong in the Uk. I always like to give my exams using knee rests and invested in a set a few years ago to make exams feel more realistic. I think its more comfortable for the women to have her legs fully supported and held open throughout the examination. I am looking forward to meeting a few new poeple on this site and giving some new exams in 2013 .

I much prefer the Knee rests,but mostly have been with foot stirrups.

I have always used foot stirrups, and prefer them covered so i don't have to put my socks back on.

Def knee supports. Gives me a much more exposed and funrable feeling.

I definitely prefer the foot stirrups for a real exam, but for a play exam I'd really like to try knee rests to see how it is. They seem like they'd expose more.

Def knee rests, the thougrt of buckling a womens legs and forcing them open and keeping them that way turns me on.

The idea that she can not close her legs also play a big role in my fantasies of forced pregnancy.

The foot rests dont work for me.

Would knee rests be more comfortable for the patient? I'd tend to think it would be easier to stay on the table compared to stirrups, especially if a patient is asked to scoot their butt all the way to the edge.

I enjoy both. I think there is something exhilarating about being asked to put my feet in the stirrups but I also enjoy having the nurse/doctor lift my legs into the knee rests for more in depth procedures. There are pluses to both. Love it when I hear the doctor go "Alright, now I am going to have you place your heels in the stirrups...yep like that...now scoot down to the very edge of the table...until you feel my hand...a little more...there you go. Take a nice deep breath and let your knees fall out to the sides. There you go, are you comfortable?"

The knee supports are definitely hotter. It is so sexy to see a woman splayed open so wide with a light focused on her vulva while the doctor readies to examine her.

I prefer the knee rests. I feel more vulnerable.

I've only been in knee rests - and only once - whilst I didn't like it at the time it definitely makes its way into my fantasies now. The chair was electrically operated and the part under my bottom fell away so I felt very exposed

GF has only ever been in the foot rests. Her first visit she was allowed to try out the knee and foot types still clothed to see which she liked.. We're going to see if we can get her over in to knee stirrups once w/o making it obvious.. I want to see her wide open like that.

I've only ever had foot rest type stirrups at my exams. I would however like to experience the knee rest kind, they do look like they would be really comfortable, especially a longer procedure or exam. I think I'd also be turned on by the exposure and vulnerability of being in them, as I it would be more so than with foot stirrups I think.

About five years ago my wife had to go for a colposcopy and this was the first time that that she experienced knee rests. I went with her to the appointment but she didn't want me in the room with her. On talking about the procedure she mentioned the knee rests and said that at firsts she felt quite exposed and vulnerable even though she had been given a gown to wear and had only to undress below the waist.

All her smears tests and pelvic exams at the GP's have been with her in the frog leg position but recently I was in the Practice Nurse's room for a Well man check and I noticed under the exam couch a set of black knee rests and the couch had attachments at the bottom which I presume were for these.It has gotten me wondering how often they are used and who upon.

In real life, I prefer foot rest stirrup. I don't know. The knee stirrups are too barbaric. I would alreadybe feeling so nervous but excited at the same time during the physical check up. The extra exposure from knee stirrup will definitely drive me over the edge.

Now, if it's a play session, then it is a different story. I want the knee stirrups. More open, more vulnerable, more humiliation, less control of how much i can move my legs. Plus a rough, unsympathetic doctor who doesn't hesitate to inflict pain. Yummy!!!!

I have never been lucky enough to try knee rests but I would LOVE to find a set for our exam table. Foot stirrups get very uncomfortable after awhile and since I spend a lot of time in them when we play, I would like that time to be as easy on my hips and knees as possible.

Although the knee rests seem like they would be more comfortable, they seem far more exposed and also would potentially leave the patient feeling more vulnerable due to the loss of control (ie not being able to control how legs are)

I have never seen an exam done in stirrups, but that's because they are not common here.. Knee rests are definitely more interesting than the frog leg though!

Personally I like both, depending on the patient and the type of exam/procedure, so I bought a Ritter 108 that has stirrups and knee rests. It's nice to have options...

My wife told me she likes the knee rests best because they keep her legs apart better and are more comfortable

In Hungary most offices have the foot rests. I personally prefer the knee rests, had the oppurtunity to be in them during play sessions, even in the hanging ones at a BDSM doc, they where super hot. So exposed and helpless. I think most doctors and hospitals have the foot rests, all of my real exams where done in this type of tables.

The foot stirrups are awkward and uncomfortable. I can relax more on the leg rests.

In the US, wouldn't the leg rests most likely be used for longer procedures rather than routine exams?
