Lube

I have tried vasiline and KY...but I like lubes that do more than just make it slippery....

My favorite lube at the moment isn't really lube - its Carmax....gives you a nice cool feeling up there. I also want to try other active ones like vicks vapor rub.

Any other fun ideas guys?

Astroglide for me. It's most like the body's own lubricating fluid. Just try it!

Different lubes are best for different applications I found.

For all on sex a silicone lube called magnum in a black bottle is the bomb. Does not dry out and does not give my lady a problem with clean up. For hand jobs she uses quite a bit and I have to say because of this her hand jobs have improved enormously.

For anything with urethra we use KY. Any kind seems to work as long as it is kept as sterile as you can. Treat it like eye drops and don't touch the tip of the tube to your skin. Drip it on.

For anal the silicone works OK but the thicker consistency of Vaseline seems to aid on comfort.

In the water silicone or Vaseline is a must. Lots of physics going on there with water solubility etc.

When I am masturbating I my favorite is Vaseline intensive care lotion in the yellow bottle. No lanolin that burns and the thickness is real good for creating just the right amount of friction.

I recently tried a new lube called Swiss Navy, during an exam, its quite a bit more slippery than Astroglide, and lasts alot longer.

Yes for exams it's also useful for anal sex -KY or anyother waterbvased gel

Lubing the glove is almost as exciting as putting it on. I like to think about that slippery finger entering me.

Generic KY.

For all normal uses, we use Astroglide. It is quite slippery lasts much longer than KY and is not nearly as sticky. For heavy duty, I suggest J-lube which is a veterinary product.It must be mixed with water, but it is the most slippery and durable lube I have ever found.

Speed

Knowing which lube to use when and where is more important than it might seem. This is a good question and my thanks for the many excellent responses. Again I urge caution and care in activities that may have considerable consequences. What looks or sounds easy can result in great harm. Standard KY:

Boring, but cheap, toy safe, and functional

Astroglide:

Same thing, but cooler name, higher price. Does come in individual, sterile shooter packs....useful for urethral play.

KY Warming:

Simple, basic warming effect. VERY mild.

Carmex:

NOT TOY SAFE, but has a nice cooling effect.

Vicks: (not meant as a lube - use at your own risk)

NOT TOY SAFE - this one starts to hurt. Will last about 15 minutes, with the climax of pain at about 5 minutes. Good effect.

IcyHot Cream: (not meant as a lube - use at your own risk)

HURTS! BAD! Lasts about an hour, climax of paint at about 10 minutes. Hurts very bad....but fun.[/]

Personally I love the way vaseline feels when having my temp taken. KY is another alternative that I have used, however it just doesn't provide the same sensation vaseline does.

I generally use K&Y Jelly it is very slippery and very long lasting. it is good for fisting, gyno exams, dildos, fingering, vaginal intercourse, anal inercourse, strange insertions.

there are many different things it can be used for including hair gel.

For proctological use - many proctologists prefer petroleum jelly (Vaseoline (R)) at least during the summery - it maintains its viscosity better with higher ambient temperatures.

I use KY...definitely plain but it gets the job done...I have heard about astroglide being a very great lube.

We use Astroglide for most purposes. For heavy duty anal and urethral play we use a stiff mix of J-lube, a veterinary product available at your local farm supply.

Speed

For rectal exams I use KY. For urethral insertions I use Sterilube.

For anything anal; temps, insertions, etc. my partner and I like Bag Balm; a lanolin-based ointment that's used far and wide in farm environments. Like vaseline, it holds its viscosity very nicely through changes in temperature and friction. Because it's lanolin- based, it's very good for the skin.

For vaginal play and most other activities, I like astro-glide. For urethral play, there is only one and that's Surgilube. I don't get much effect from KY warming gel, it's so mild as to be nonexistent, but that's just me.

Just the walgreens brand nothing special and works great

I use lube, I use the "lubrigima" and it's only for professional use, the package is a bottle (250 ml) with dispenser. Is the best lube at the right price. You can find it on ebay Italy.

Ky is the best value for money product....even if astroglide is so good too: it is just more expensive.

In my experience KY is better for anal play but astroglide is much better for vaginal play.
