Exam Gowns

Both my gyn and family doctor use paper gowns.

My doc has always used paper gowns, if you can call them gowns that is. They're more like a sheet of tissue paper with two holes in them, you can't move, sit down, anything without them ripping. At the actual doctor's I hate this because before they even come in the room they're practically falling off. But for play I kind of like the idea. As the exam progresses and you get closer and closer to the genital the more the gown rips and the more exposed you are. Almost like foreshadowing the uncomfortable situations that are to come in the not so distant future...

My Wife said she has always had cloth gowns at both the Gyn & Family doctor.She said she had a paper one given to years ago at a locale Family planning clinic.She said at the time it was only a sheet and was told to completely undress and cover up with the sheet.She also said when she took her younger sister last year to the clinic they only gave her a small sheet to cover up with.She said the sheet barely covered her sister body and acted like it wanted to slid off her body.She said when the Nurse practitioner came in to perform the exam.She (Nurse practitioner )pulled the sheet completely off her and placed on the floor out of her way.

I have had a gown on only one occasion and it was cloth and tied in the front. To expose the genitalia, the doctor pulled on the tie and opened the front of the gown and had me drop my briefs.

It used to be paper; now my doctor uses cloth. They open in the back and I only tie the neck leaving the waist untied so my butt can 'accidentally' be exposed. The paper gowns were crinkly and uncomfortable.

Usually a paper gown. It's this weird plasticy, waxy paper too, not even regular paper gown material. Quite uncomfortable.

It doesn't matter. The doctor usually has me take it off shortly into the exam and that is the last I see of it.

I have single use blue cloth examination gowns available for a play exam if the woman requires one. Some women opt to wear these and others prefer it to be done in other ways.

They tie at the neck and waist.

The last couple of times have been cloth. Must be because it's better for the environment.

My wife went recently to Her GYN DOCTOR & New family Doc .At both appts they gave her a cloth gown and a paper sheet to cover her waist with .When she had her Mammogram the tech gave her a actual robe to wear.

My GP dispenses cloth gowns but then adds a paper sheet to cover the lower half with. My play-doc insists on a cloth hospital gown with nothing underneath. There is nothing quite like it when he slips the gown down over my shoulders to do the breast exam. .

I have always gotten a cloth gown

I'm provided with an odd fitting top with holes for your arms and head that only covers the upper portion, then a lengthy cloth to cover my bottom area. It's awkward an not much fun. Would prefer a paper gown really.

Green cloth like they use in surgery..

My Dr. uses the cloth gowns. I would much rather have the paper gown.

I hate the paper gowns; I actually started taking my own cloth gown to the one MD office where I liked the doctor, but hated the gown. I am so tall that the paper gown does not quite actually cover my genital area.

I like being exposed for "play medical" stuff, but I am actually a patient with some serious medical problems, and "real medical" is way-different from "play medical", and I don't appreciate being left in what is basically a giant paper towel where one can see my crotch from the hallway. In particular as I was in "paper" incontinence underwear at the time anyway (and was only 29 years old).

Of course, now I can use my personal hospital gown for fun things...

I've seen lots of doctors. On the whole, if they used cloth gowns I probably would not go back.

I was given a cloth gown and like you rightly said its more warmer and comfortable, and most importantly its opaque.

My (real) gyn uses paper gowns, and the nice thing is when i am lying down and he does the breast exam, he pulls it down and it makes a rustling sound. i feel so exposed and my nipples get so hard in the cool air, with the paper gown down under my breasts.

Mine always uses paper. i like the crinkle sound and they seem to be much more revealing than a cloth gown would be and i like that

Our PCP has cloth. I usually refuse and wear my boxers. My partner tells me her OB/GYN has paper.

For a house call, just a bathrobe should do.

There's something about the paper gowns, and the table paper, that is a turn-on to me. Not sure if it's the texture, the sound, or what.

I get a paper exam gown at my ob/gyn exam. I don't really like them because they tend to rip quite easily and they are uncomfortable to wear.

Cloth gowns. Which makes me happy, because the paper ones are loud, tear to easy, and aren't nearly as comfortable. All my play patients get a cloth one too.
