I was going through an old family album that my saintly, blue haired mother had given to me. The album was stuffed full of pictures taken by my late grandmother and grandfather "back in the day." That day being in the mid 50s to mid 60s--part of the golden age of enemas. I came across a few interesting shots, including one of a 8 or 9 year old me, brushing my teeth in my grandmothers bathroom, clad in my favorite sail boat "jammies." In the background behind me hanging on the towel rack was grandmas davol closed top red enema bag, with a red hose and a black nozzle. Did that bring back memories. It was hanging out to dry. I spent many hours on the recieving end of that thing. Anyone else run accross old pics or 8mm from the golden age? Just curious. I get excited looking at the picture. Suddenly I am a boy again. Oh, too turn back the hands of time. Just one more of grandma's warm, soapy enema sessions.
