Was your mom obsessed with giving you suppositories for constipation?

For me it was my foster aunt and her husband, they were both very much into enemas (and other stuff). But my F aunt was the dominant one and when I went into their care she made sure that I learnt very quickly what the rubber thing (a Higginson) was for and what it did. And like or not (and I didn't like it) she made sure that the enema was going to be a way of life for me. She had an obsession with my bowel movements.

My mom used suppositories occasionally as a prep for an upcoming enema. “This will get things started” she would say. When she came into the bedroom with that glass jar of those long, thin suppositories, I knew it wouldn't be long before I would be called into bathroom for a “good” enema, her preferred method for dealing with constipation.

My Mom gave me suppositories occasionally if she had given me a laxative the night before and it didn't make me go as soon as I woke up the next morning. She used glycerin suppositories until I was 12 or sometimes a homemade Ivory soap stick if she had run out of suppositories and for a while she used Evacusert suppositories after my uncle who was a salesman for a drug company gave her a box of samples to try. In my teens she switched to Dulcolax or other cheaper generic bisacodyl suppositories. If the laxative plus a suppository didn't make me go after about 20 minutes she would get out the enema bag and give me a big hot soapsuds enema.

Yes, my mom loved administering suppositories in my bum. Got my sister-in-law to join too. My older brother helped too sometimes. They would hold me down while I squirmed, cried and tried to get away. Sometimes I got a spanking for this too.

It could be otk on one of their laps or on my stomach on the bed or couch or in the diaper position. They would spring it on me when I would least expect it. Always caught me by surprise, secured my limbs, pulled my dress up, panties down, cheeks held apart by one of them while another lubed me thoroughly and inserted the pill deeply.

No obsession either way by definition. She's a devoutee of enemas, but, suppositories are used for us as a “supplement” but again, it's her way of thinking, her manner, what she believes. I don't think it qualifies for a “diagnosis” of like OCD or anything.

My mother was very much obsessed with my bowel movement if didn't go every day she took action first ether with supp or soap sticks if that failed get good enough result then large soapy enema followed

I dont recall too many suppositories but mom certainly gave me a lot of enemas…. whenever i felt ill, constipated, or had a fever i got an enema. apparently my sister did too but i did not know that at the time….. she told me that she did not like them one bit.. while I, on the other hand, always enjoyed my enemas…. and still do. on a related note… we both got bare assed spankings too.. mostly with a hairbrush and I occasionally got the belt.

I don’t know if I’d say obsessed but I got one every time I was constipated

@Mason if the pills then the suppo didn't work it was the bag. I loved the bag. Never got the finger though…

She didn't have a suppository obsession per se, but an obsession with having daily bowel movements. Dinner talk could shift to bowel issues, like "this vegetable has roughage to help you poop" and my aunt, who lived with us for a while, often griped about her failure to clear her bowels in the morning, for which my mom would offer laxatives. I had to listen to inane pooping strategies, like forcing themselves to drink 5 cups of water right after waking to get their bowels moving. She claimed to know if her friends hadn't pooped for a day.

Mom liked to threaten me with suppositories when I refused to drink the awful tasting prune juice or metamucil, which I sometimes poured down the drain when she wasn't looking. And when she caught me poop withholding, she would tell me to "stop controlling it" or ask "are you controlling it?" but she knew the answer because mom knew my body language well. I would feel guilty at being caught, and then my anxiety would build because a suppository or enema was imminent.

When she was about to give me a suppository, she could be cruel and domineering. If I showed the slightest sign of resistance, she would yell for whoever was in the house at the time to come help hold me down. I remember how she directed my dad, aunt and her friends to hold my limbs and position my body to receive the suppository or enema. She had no shame in letting anyone see her insert the laxatives into my anus. The shame and embarrassment were all mine to bear. She had a penchant for using the power of shame to keep me in line, and suppositories were the way she did it for bowel movements.

There wasn’t any shame about it at my house growing up. If they thought I needed suppositories then I got them plain and simple. My mom or stepdad would have me on their lap or my bed to push them in. Mom usually gave me the enemas and my stepdad usually did the suppositories and temp taking because his fingers were longer than my moms so he get up inside me a little bit further. The only bad part was the occasional friend or family member there who saw me getting my temp taken and suppository inserted in my butt.

I do not think mom was onessed but she believed of their efdectiveness. Therefore l got a lot. For almost all problems.

My cousin who's 4 months younger than me was frequently constipated when he was growing up and my aunt gave him Glycerin Suppositories several times a week when he didn't poop first thing in the morning in addition to giving him a big dose of Agarol laxative once a week in an attempt to keep him regular. He would usually have several big urgent runny poops the next morning but in a few days he couldn't go and she'd give him another suppository. I got the weekly doses of Agarol during the summer when I stayed at their cottage during July and August but I don't remember her ever giving me a suppository.
