Mom was an old-time nurse, 1929 to 60's. Recall was sick,
early in the day she said: "later I will give you an enema".
Was not too happy about this, did not like them then.
Worried about all day.
My last one was when I was 12. Was on my right side in bed on
newspapers (?), could feel the black pipe being inserted,
liked that. After awhile she had me turn on my left side.
Looked up she was holding the red/orange Armstrong Art Weave
hot water bottle with black hose. There was also a black rubber
Armstrong water bottle, think saw used on sis once.
Don't recall much after that. Once she asked me:
"Aren't you going to Thank me for giving you an Enema".
Didn't say a thing.
I remember there was a nail in the side of bathroom window,
over the bathtub. For enemas?
One of my 1st memories, was on my stomach, mom said:
"Thought you liked them"? Was either inserting the pipe or
giving me an enema.
Also was carried to toilet and warm water coming out or
suppositories being re-inserted.
When older noticed girls got them, too.
Think sister (2 yrs younger) got more than I.
We both got "How Many"???
Wish I had films or photos of them.
Have a very large collection of vintage
equipment and literature.
If I went to a Hypnotist and went back,
what would I discover? Have it taped.
Would have to be a lady one.
