More enema availibility for women

Why do you think that women have greater access to give/receive enemas than we gentlemen do ? For my mom , an enema was just a phone call away as to / from her mom , mom-in-law , an older aunt and two of her close friends . Of course she reciprocated as per these ladies request for enema assistance w/ the exceptions of my grandmothers ( I think ) . My mom was very active in the 1950's era as to give/receive and I remember her active participation as per above though with much discretion as to making this activity a ' public ' announcement which she did not . I do recall her telling us kids that ' .............. was coming over to give me an enema ' . Perhaps it was because that ' mom's ' and females did such things , gave enemas , in the home as part of their distaff activities as a home maker in those long ago days . What do you think as per post ................... ????

To a certain extent, I would say that enemas are more "available" to women simply from the perspective that woman have douched for eons, and if they so choose to do an enema, the equipment is already there. For men, enemas have typically been a health thing or for constipation, hence they have to drag out the family enema douche kit, but that's not to say that men enjoy enemas any less than women. In fact, it might be tilted the other way a bit, due to the Prostate stimulation that men receive from enemas. When it's all said and done so to speak, it simply comes down to a personal enjoyment thing.

Very true Lisa, women can talk with out any adverse thought from others, even men, unless it is often enough to cause speculation as to why the interest. (yes, yes, bring the conversation on) Men just don't talk about them unless they know each other well and know of mutual interest. A feeling of being thought of as odd, just something you don't talk about. I have this same problem and in fact would not post on this site for a long time for fear of being exposed.

I concur, Lisa. I think we are more in tuned with our bodies than males. If we feel badly, I think we are more prone to look for a remedies. Males, or at least the ones that I have been closely associated with are more prone to gut it out. -- DD

Just want to thank the ladies as to the above replys as to my question ........... your input is always welcomed !!! For so long ........ I thought that I was somehow ' weird ' and the ' only one ' who enjoyed give / receive enemas but with the advent of the internet I have found that there are many , many ladies and gentlemen who enjoy the pleasurable activity . Perhaps I am so ' weird ' after all !!!!

I would agree that women are much more open about intimate things such as enemas. I can't imagine talking to another man about enemas unless I know full well he is into them as members on this site are. I have never discussed enemas with another man except on this site and I don't have any problem discussing them with members here either.

The only men I have discussed this subject are ones I have met online and from advertising to purchase vintage equipment and before the Net

it was by mail. We also shared literature and films and past history.

Anyone one outside this would think me strange (maybe some do anyway?) and I could talk about it with late wife and 3 different girlfriends. The last one helped me once last year, but since ???

As for women giving enemas, it is because we have always been the traditional care providers meaning that we dispense aspirin and cough syrup, apply the antiseptic and band-aids, remove the splinters in fingers, and give the enemas.

We are also probably the more frequent enema takers, too, because as ddell said we are much more in tune with our bodies and their various functions. At a fairly young age most of us became comfortable with purchasing feminine hygiene items without embarrassment so when it was time to purchase a syringe most of us just went ahead and did it and there was no problem. Most men would need to think about how to go about doing this for days.

There must still be a number of women doing enemas, if you call them that. A check of 3 local food stores, I usually check the 1st Aid Isle.

In the Fleet or like brands, especially double packs. They are 6

boxes or units to a row. 2 or 3 rows.

The other day, 4 double packs gone from 2 rows. 16 squeeze bottles.

Squeeze away.

Have mentioned before, the other year, was going down the isle,

an attractive woman in her 30's, wearing gray jersey top and

shorts, leaned over a grabbed the last double pack. Thought

it was cough drops.

Followed her around for several minutes, twice passed her cart and

peeked in. Finally left, don't need any trouble.

Wish I knew them. Current girlfriend is not one of us.

Helped me once last fall.

This would not happen in the UK. we do not have stores that sell ( or have on display) over the counter 😢

I think women are used to using douches and are more hygenic, which is why they are more apt to receive an enema

And women often received an enema when in labor and having a baby. Then, they also might receive one or more a day or two after the birth if they hadn't had a BM.

Women overwhemingly have been the caregivers, the nurses, and are tuned into bodies much more than men. Some women like to give enemas and/or get them, much like guys on this site.

I have never met another male who told me he loved enemas but I have had 2 girlfriends who were into enemas. One of them very quickly in our relationships would leave her enema bag in plain view in the bathroom. One time it was still wet when I arrived. I think it was important to her that I accept her enema habit and not say that is disgusting. Love me and my enemas or forget it. She said she took enemas because they relaxed her. When I told her that I also took enemas she was not very Interested. They were her private activity. May be you will read this in Chicago

Keep in mind,up until about 1970 or so, women were actually encouraged to douche. Well into the 1970s getting their own "Feminine Hygiene" syringe. (usually a bag) was essentially a right of passage once they started having periods.

Once they have a douche bag, it is one small fitting away from being an enema bag.

This creates opportunities men just don't get.

Many on here have talked about men getting prostate stimulation from enemas. Some have also talked about women getting G Spot stimulation as well, since their spot is just behind the rectal wall. What is it like to get the G spot stimulated from BOTH sides all at once (enema and penis or vibrator)? Do women have an advantage?

You all have done wonderfully explaining why. God gave us the gift of caring and nurturing. Oftentimes I think this world be a better place with women in charge. I know we be safer. All these shootings lately seem to be carried out by disturbed men. Not that women aren't disturbed as well, but it's generally not in out nature to have assault weapons and go on killing sprees! I was visiting a girlfriend last week in the hospital and I couldn't help but notice the greater number of female nurses to the number of male nurses. Physicians are still dominated by men, nurses by women, although the percentages aren't as far apart as they used to be -- and I think that's making progress.

Since that beginning of time we have given birth and nurtured our children -- and frankly, I doubt if some men I know would make it without a caring woman in their life. Fortunate, my husband has three caring ladies (my two daughters and I) and his mom who, by the way, learned to give enemas from her mother who was a peds nurse. He's a dream, of course (as noted in my other posts), but he does whine some when he's sick.

Getting back to the subject, let's be honest -- it's I'm embedded in our nature to take better care of ourselves and as Emom so beautifully wrote, do all those things and give the enemas. The latter isn't as much in vogue anymore (although not the case at my colon therapist whose practice is growing among women in their 30s and 40s especially). Judging from the number of websites selling enema bags, it may not be as going out of style as we think!
