Males: Stirrups or Gyno Chair Exams

I have never been in stirrups, even at the urologists.

Never... but I'd love it!

If ever I become Health Minister I would lobby for it to be mandatory.

Oh my goodness, I wish!!!

I always hope this may happen, but my next best position is on all fours and then on my back with legs pulled back.

I have been examined by dominant nurses while on my back and my legs in stirrups. I love a very realistic exam room atmosphere and exam tables with stirrups make it a very realistic medical exam room. My regular dominant nurse likes me on my back and my legs in stirrups when she does a deep digital rectal exam and she "monitors" my erection with her other ungloved hand. She "examines" it lightly and teasingly to bring me to the precum stage. It absolutely drives me to "super hard" and finally a VERY intense cum.

Yep - had urethritis, and female PA put me in the stirrups for a vigorous prostate massage to express some fluid for a culture. Of the many, many DRE's and a few procto/sigmoidoscope exams I've had over the years in every position conceivable, this was the one and only time in the stirrups.

I've only ever been placed in stirrups once and that was as a child, my doctor needed to administer and enema, so he placed me in the stirrups. I wish i remember this event more, cause what i would give to be put in stirrups now

Sounds like great fun.... tied up in stirrups, maybe blindfolded too! you never know how many fingers you are getting in you... maybe even a hand!!

I doubt it will ever happen during a normal physical but patients with urological or anal issues/problems may well find themselves positioned on an exam table in stirrups. In the 70s I had an anal fistula and experienced the stirrups several times. In the 80s, I had some urinary tract exams that a couple of cystoscopies and I was in stirrups for each one.

I had a girl friend in the Oreint that had a local clinic and when I drank way way too much, she would put me up in the gyno chair using the stirrups, well more like leg rest, the goal was to rehydrate me, that 2nd enemas she gave when deep deep, but I was good as new when it was time to go fly. I used ti put on a drama seen about it but she just say “ be quit and up in the chair " : lol what I wanted anyway

Anyone ever had one of these - IRL or play?

My ultimate dream.... 😃

Why do the girls get all the fun 😢

Yes, I have tried a rectal exam on my back with legs in knee rests. It was (and still is) a dream for me, but it wasn't that fun IRL. The time in the knee rests was short (max two - three minutes) and the female doctor used a proctoscope in a wrong way. She forced the proctoscope too low so it hit my pelvic floor. It did hurt. She said sorry and tried one more time - correct in place in my rectum. IRL is one thing, fantasies much better...

I used to see a doc who used stirrups for all rectal exams. It was weird to be in that position at first but was surprisingly comfortable and it seemed to give him good access. I also enjoyed being able to watch him prepare gloves/instruments for the exam.

As one other person on here said, you might see stirrups used for urological procedures or possibly a prostate biopsy. Doubtful if it would ever happen in a routine physical setting. I would love to have my prostate exam done while in stirrups, although it probably would never happen.

Been in stirrups once for TUNA procedure but never for a routine DRE. I wish it was the norm.

I am sure it rarely happens to males at a real exam, unfortunately, except in porn. Those of you men who have had should consider yourselves very lucky. Even in play exams it has never happened to me due to the fact that I have never had a play doctor with a real exam table, otherwise I am sure it would have happened. It remains a fantasy yet to be played out...and I sure hope it is some day.

I quite like the idea of using stirrups so when I had my last irrigation session, I asked if I could possibly be put into them. I am not into scat but I really enjoyed having the 'doctor' see all of me, feeling totally exposed and also seeing the waste fluids leave my body through the clear bit of tube that was part of the plain tube inside me. I shall certainly ask for them to be fitted again.

No I've never been in the stirrups but it seems entirely practical and would probably make a prostate exam a lot easier. I hate laying on my side trying being told to relax when the gloved finger goes in. I've never been able to master that exam without clenching up.

I have never been in stirups for a real medical exam. But I have been in stirups with two different enema nurses. Both times it was a great experience.

I've had to bend over the table as part of a regular check up but never had stirrups.

I had a foot injury once where I had one foot in a stirrup while the dr examined (and manipulated) my toes. Also however, except for lack of sock and shoe, I was clothed.

I think there are procedures where it happens, but may not be for routine examinations.

Never for me, DRE always done on my side

They use a similar fixture like you described for male Hydrocele Surgery in a Hospital Setting. The individual is asleep however and when he awakes will find himself in recovery clad in a jock strap and gown. There may also be ice packs applied to his scrotum to help control testicular swelling. So be careful when playing softball, football and soccer guys.

Yet again, your fantasies are inserting themselves into reality. A hydrocele is in the scrotum. The scrotum is anterior (in the front). The position for this surgery is supine (on the back). You just need to look at YouTube for a couple of dozen videos of the surgery.

The lithotomy position that you describe is commonly used on men for rigid cystoscopy and perianal procedures such as seed implantation for prostate cancer or certain bladder sling procedures.

Then I will tell my friend who had hydrocele surgery in 1982 he was in the wrong fixture and in wrong position. His penis was taped to his abdomen and he was lying on his back. He was in hospital for three days. These days it is a quick day surgery procedure and may be different.

You just described supine surgery, not the lithotomy position using stirrups. The time spent in the hospital and the tape fixation of his penis are inconsequential to the surgical posture.

I can see Kyle99's reasoning. I am a also a physically fit (not overly muscular more of a runner fit) Alpha Male Blue Collar Man who loves not having the "upper hand" in a medical scenario. I have never been in the stirrups and to be honest I don't know if I would like it or not. I would be willing to try.

When I had my bilateral orchiectomy and penectomy, the surgeon had me on my back on a gyn table with legs spread and feet in stirrups.

Just went through that for a rigid, and perfectly relaxed

This is one of my biggest fantasies!!!

Being in stirrups totally increases the humiliation of the patient and makes him very exposed. It also increases the patients anxiety as he can see everything but have no control on what happens next.

I've never had it before myself though.
