I know I am in the minority, as two different therapists have said I was subject to enema abuse growing up. But I would like to know if anyone cried during an enema. My enemas were always a full bag. From age five to eleven, Mom gave a bag enema from a childrens bag. It had a Little Bo Peep nursery rhyme on it, and probably held about a quart. At age twelve, she used a full two quart bag filled with soapy water(Ivory). Back in the 50's the metal hose clamp was either on or off. When it was "on" the water flow was quite strong, and about 10 percent of the time, from age 5 to 13, I would cry from the cramps. Mom would shut the clamp until the cramps subsided, and as always she had my butt cheeks pinched together to prevent leakage. Handing me a piece of toilet paper to wipe my eyes, she would say "Stop your crying, you're not finished". EVERY enema was a full bag, tears or not.
Did anyone else cry, and did crying lessen the volume or stop the enema from continuing? Curious minds want to know.
