LZ - No reason to feel embarrassed, yours is a perfectly normal question to ask. When you say that she's a "natural" kind of girl, are you referring to hygiene or to hair? Either way, there has to be a meeting of the minds. My partner is a squeaky clean kind of guy but he never uses any kind of fragrance, cologne, etc. His grooming routine consists of a late night shower, deodorant, a shave, and he's done. He trims, but does not shave "down there". After a day of wearing clothes, moving around, natural bodily secretions, etc., he can present with something of a musky, salty scent but I have never found it offensive in any way. If I did, all I would have to do is mention a shower and he'd be off like a shot to remedy the situation. In a similar fashion, my routine is a morning shower, deodorant and a smudge of powder in a few spots where chafing is likely to be a problem. I don't generally wear fragrance either because it tends to annoy my partner's sinuses. I do shave my pubic area because we both prefer it that way and it eliminates the hair issue. If he ever found my personal taste or odor offensive, I'd be in the shower in a heartbeat. Then I'd probably be off to the doctor to find out if there were an underlying medical problem. As a diabetic, he says I taste very sweet, i don't know if that's true or not but I do know that I love it when he kisses me after he's performed.oral sex.
But back to your question. Is it possible that you could suggest a shared bath or shower beforehand? There's nothing quite like a warm bath and slippery soap accompanied by some candles and wine to get the party started. Could you suggest a mild vinegar and water, or baking soda and water douche beforehand, as part of your play? If it's a hair issue, would she consent to a very limited shave or trim? That way, she could keep her natural look and feel, but it wouldn't be such a problem for you. I suppose you could use some type of numbing preparation, but if you can't feel your tongue, how do you know you're actually doing what your mind's eye is envisioning? Also, something that deadens your tongue may also decrease her sensitivity, and that's certainly not what you want.
Just some thoughts!
