Shaved or not??

A friend, who has another friend that is an Ob/Gyn, recently told me that the Gyn had commented that some 60-80% of women he sees, aged 20-50... are smooth. After 50 the number starts to go down as fewer women are smooth.. but are mostly still all well trimmed.

Doc Geoff

For a few years my wife has depilated herself before her visit at the gynaecologist. She leaves a light sleeping bag to the top of her vulva!

Before it was “natural” and very hairy.

I always get a deep bikini wax and have a cute little triangle of pubic hair in my mons area as it makes me feel more feminine

I'm always trimmed, not bare, but smooth.

I’m pretty much always waxed because I prefer it, and once I’d been to the waxer a few days before seeing my gyn, just because my schedule worked out that way. My gyn saw and said, “you know, you don’t have to get waxed for the doctor. We don’t care.” I laughed and said “well, honestly I didn’t do it for YOU, but good to know.”

I prefer shaved... and to my experience this is what most men also prefer...

My girlfriend always shaves herself completely before she goes to the gynecologist.

My gf is shaved and that is how she likes to keep her self down there

I prefer shaved but a little fuzz is ok.

Normally I'm completly shaved. Most of the girls of my generation are shaved. I started quite early with 13. It was for me normal. My friend did the same. Even my mom was shaved during this time.

I look at women frequently on reddit and most have hair. I feel like there is a trend back to natural hair. Does anyone else see this happening?

Some degree of pubacity is coming back. Mostly with the younger women. Those I see at the gym are almost 50/50.

@naughtyjrk

Yes, I see this happening, unfortunately. I think the trend has been moving this way for several years now. In my opinion, the pussy should remain free of hair. If she doesn't want to shave it herself, I can take care of it for her, but either way, it is a job that needs done. A farmer wouldn't let weeds overtake his field because he didn't feel like pulling them.

Prefer all women shaved

drives me wild

That understands my health issues and charges a little higher for cleaning costs. She says that she has numerous clients who are incontinent.

I just love the look of a full bush. The first girl I dated had a thick dark patch and I just loved “exploring” the area. A full furry bush takes me back to those good old days!!

I do not like hair in my mouth no matter what I'm eating! I guess that says it all. Only to add that I like to see what I'm eating.

Love au natural… so hot

Pubic hair makes me feel womanly… I have shaved and waxed at different points but more for my partner than me.. These days I just trim it short.

I don’t always sport hardwood floors. Being a natural ginger, the natural red bush needs to be revealed every so often. I do enjoy allowing a physician to per an exam while it us displayed in all of its natural beauty.

And what a glorious sight that would be to behold @Fawkes . 😃

@Fawkes Your carpet matches the drapes!!

Ditto @LordJim2 !

Trim that shit tight! I do not want to have to go brush-hogging when I’m looking for her slide and teeter totter.

I doubt the doctor wants to clear brush either.

I love being completely bald down there. I think it looks much better not to mention soooo smooth 😈👅

My fiancée is a natural blonde with a beautiful blonde bush to match. She has shaven a few times and even got a full Brazilian once, but no matter what if she goes to the doctor’s it is a full bush that is trimmed to about a quarter inch. Something about being bare makes her embarrassed to be seen at the doctors (which makes me happy because I prefer her hairy, but it is totally up to her).

@arttemp,

From a medical standpoint, the thickness, distribution etc gives the physician a lot of health information about the patient if it isn’t removed. If you want to know more about it, then research it yourself from non kink reputable medical sources.

When my bush is present, it is tastefully trimmed. No stragglers escaping from my panties or if wearing a swim suit. Apparently, you have never had the experience to enjoy the pleasure and treasure the delights of the natural rare red bush.

@Fawkes I’ve probably had more than my fair share of redheads. I also said “trim,” not shave.

I’ve known enough medical professionals(doctors,nurses and med-techs) to say they don’t care if a patient is shaved or not. From the first day of their training they are taught to deal with a patient as he/she presents, not how they may wish them to be. The fact that clinical settings are so sterile is another reason no one really cares one way or the other.

Love it waxed - and I think most doctors would rather look at a nicely waxed vagina than a hairy one. It just looks better, you can see the labia and the color of a nice pink vagina specially when women get wet can see the labia area wet

I've shared elsewhere, I shave the majority of my bush but leave a fringe. 3 reasons: My husband likes the color of my pubic hair, being totally bald on my labia itches as it grows back and I'm not a daily shaver. I don't have a lot of body hair so I've never had to shave often and I'm not about to start. the final reason is psychological for me - I don't like looking pre-pubescent. Granted there's nothing about this old lady's body that looks pre-pubescent otherwise but it just feel weird to be totally without pubic hair. I don't like it.
