I have just come back from the dental hospital.
It was my second root canal treatment and I had it under inhalation sedation, it was amazing.
I was taken to 55% nitrous eventually, very caringly and very gently, it was such an amazing experience. I was in a side room from the main sedation suite treatment room and my dentist was very softly and slowly spoken. I have a bit of a dental anxiety problem, but being gassed in a grey rubber nasal mask by a beautiful gloved dentist more than made up for it.
Interestingly, she didn't wear a mask herself, but a full face visor.
Very impressed. I go for what should be my final treatment on the 3rd of June.
