I really like J&J Baby Shampoo. I can use as much as I want, don't get cramps, while some like cramps, I don't. I never measure the amount of shampoo. I just squeeze the bottle and when the water gets cloudy, I stop.
I also like the smell of J&J Baby Shampoo. It also helps clean the toilet some.
I have used all kinds of soap. Netrugena, both bar and liquid, Ivory, the Kirks Castle soap, Dr. Bronners Peperment soap. I had a reaction to the peperment soap, I must have mixed it too strong. I nearly passed out. I have used just about all the soaps that are safe to use.
I keep coming back to J&J Baby Shampoo. I used the Shampoo and body wash. My Dr. I saw the other day for hemorrhiods asked how I deal with hard stool. I said I take an enema. I said it is quick and easy relief and that it gets the job done. I told him about using the fiber, lots of gas and then I didn't know if I was ging to pass gas or poop. He suggested to start with a lot less fiber and then work up to what they recommend. I also told him that my kidney Dr. said I could use Mira-Lax. The Hemorrhiod Dr. said that would also work, I said I just have to figure out how much each and every day. I told him that I would use an enema for the time being and then start on the fiber. He said if the hemorrhiods started to bother me, to call him and he would then explain what they would do.
I told him I enjoy the enemas and that they solve the problem. He said, go ahead and do what I have done. He wanted to to work on using the fiber, but for now, enemas were fine.
He said with all my other health problems, hemorrhiods were way down on the list of things. He also said if they began to bother me, to call and we would deal with the problem.
So for now, it is enemas, add the fiber, if necessary use Mira-Lax, (clear-lax) and live with them. I was really happy to hear that he didn't go all nuts when I said I use enemas. He asked how many times a week, month and I told him sometimes every day, sometimes every other day, depends on how I feel. He didn't go nuts over that. I am sure other Dr.s would be off the wall when you would tell them that you use enemas and some other way to combat hard stool.
