Who else is a nudist?

Nath42 Actually not many people come over. I mean when someone comes over we all warn each other and get dressed. Sometimes if we are on the way home and have someone we will call and warn everyone. Plus we live in the foothills on the outskirts of town so not many people like to drive up here or even know where it is. Only a few times has something happened. Once was a couple at a party who picked the lock on my bedroom door and came in. They were kissing and started stripping. Myself and another girl were in my bed and we waited until they got totally undressed before I said something. They said,"who are you?" I said the owner. They got dressed in lightning speed. Then the other time A girl I had been talking to more than a few times at a club we go to. She was a little drunk and I told her she could stay at my place and we would come back and get her car tomorrow. So we came home. Later my sister and her girlfriend came home. They knew I was home because my car was here. The next morning they (my sister and her girlfriend) were in my bathroom. Everyone likes my bathroom because it is really big. Plus there is a garden tub with jets and a shower. People can stretch out on the floor. Anyway, the girl who was in my bed started elbowing me. So I looked and saw it was my sister and her girlfriend in my bathroom. It has an arch doorway so there is no door and you can see straight in from my bed. I got up and walked in to the potty stepping over my sister and her girlfriend. Then after I walked back. The girl was a little freaked out.

I've been a nudist/naturist my entire life. I am naked whenever possible.

@Tabitha32 : It's a terrifying idea for me to always expect someone to come by and then have to get dressed in a hurry and in a panic. So nudity would give me no pleasure. We love spending our free time in places where nudity is a given and clothes are the exception. And if someone else comes along, what's the point? Then we are the normal ones and the dressed up ones are the exotic ones. When a friend of ours took us to our favorite lake for the first time, she preferred to keep her bikini on. But after half an hour, she felt uncomfortable because many people were staring at her as she was dressed. After she got naked, no one specifically looked at her and she felt more comfortable.

We don't need to warn each other because we're just comfortable being naked and we're not ashamed to show it.

Not sure what many have described as an “actual nudist." Statements like not an “actual nudist” but love being nude is troubling. I'm not sure what is expected to be an “actual nudist.” I do not expect a person to have membership in AANR or TNS, or a local club. Just enjoying part of your existence in the buff is plenty.

@OpenBook : I agree with you that distinguishing between "real" and "not real" nudists may present some difficulties. That's why I prefer the term committed nudist. As such, I can hardly imagine spending my holidays in swimwear. I personally (and my wife as well) have made a conscious decision to spend all of our vacation days in places where nudity is the most normal thing in the world. Some of our friends occasionally go to a nudist beach, but spend more time on textile beaches. Maybe that's what real and other nudists mean.

It is completely irrelevant whether someone is an AANR, TNS or, like us, DFK member. It's more important for us to stand by it and not do it clandestinely out of fear that the neighbors might look at you stupidly.

Almost always at home. Used to have 40 acres in the mountains and the ex and I would wander around the property nude. Had some friends of the same persuasion and we were always nude at their place. Generally, I'm only clothed when I have to be.
