Ear Examinations

It doesn't do anything for me sexually, like a rectal temperature does. It just calms my nerves. I'm guessing that the nerves in the ear canal, stimulate a wellness portion of the brain.

I don’t consider myself too much of a fan of the patient role, but for some reason I’ve always enjoyed that part of rewl life exams!

I remember at the age of 4 after my procedure was done to my ears and every time when the doctors went to look in my ears, I used to fight scream and carry on due to the rawness in my ears. After the rawness heeled up, it was no problem.

I just came on here to post the exact same thing. The tickle of the otoscope is really something. It’s so much for me that I flinch when I have it done. I’m not flinching in a bad way, I’m flinching in a good way. My pediatrician made a comment once saying something along the lines “oh I forgot this makes you nervous...just relax”. I really turn into a big baby when I go to the doctors, but I still throughly enjoy it. Combine the otoscope exam with the doctor brushing near your shoulder or chest...oh my!

It's the milder things like this that literally melt me into a scene. A proffessional touch, even straighting my jaw like a subject for investigation.

A full exam including ears, throat and reflexes make a scene feel so full.

A great pretreatment for a long procedure of the doctors choice lol

I really can’t tell if it’s an arousal thing or not but YES, OMG YES!!!! I completely flinch up when they do ear exams. Q tips do not do it for me. Keys work I know that’s gross but I tried it once. But seriously like clockwork Every single time I get my ears checked I flinch so all the doctors think it’s a pain thing but I swear a huge tingle shoots down my spine possibly even larger than the stethoscope exams. I really get an ASMR experience at the doctors but also kind of aroused at the same time. The last time my previous doctor examined me he said oh yeah I forgot you dont like this part. *Insert upside down smiley face emoji here* so with the new doc I saw yesterday I warned him and he actually had to do the exam twice in one ear since my hair was in the way or something. But now that I’m getting a bit older I don’t think the larger ear speculums tickle that much.

My husband is the ultimate audiophile. When he has his exam and they check his ears, he specifically asks if there is the very tiniest bit of cerumin in the canals. He expects his ears to be spotless--and yes, he knows you are not supposed to use q-tips inside the canals, but he does anyway and is very careful about it. I think hearing (absolutely everything) is his favorite of the special senses.

There is definately something about when the doc gets close to do do a procedure such as an ear exam that causes me to tingle and tighten up, often the doc will respond with "relax" and that really gives me goosebumps, such a rush

I love when objects are inserted in my ears, literally I love when every hole in my head is filled. Mouth, nose, ears... That goes deep inside and as I'm restrained I can't help but take them all, sneezing, gagging and shivering.

If I wear nose hook, mouth gag, and every kind of restrain is much more fun, and yes, ears tortures are included in the package of my biggest fetish~

I dislike ear exams in an actual medical setting. It feels very violating to me. As some other commenters have said, it’s likely the first time a doctor will enter my personal space, and it always feels more like an invasion. Apparently I have more twisty ear canals than normal, so the initial penetration isn’t bad but then they really seem to try to advance more deeply and I find it rather uncomfortable, both the pressure in my ears and the closeness of the doctor to my face.

In a play exam, the discomfort could be used against me, if I try to evade or flinch, the doctor will just have to be more thorough. I could see that being the point where restraints are decided upon. “Young lady, you can’t even sit still for an ear exam. I’m going to secure you now as there is a lot more to come.” He would then restrain me, and take quite a long time in examining my ears. He would make a point to pull on them as he inserts the otoscope, eliciting protests and whines from me. Maybe he would even go back and forth between them to determine symmetry and other comparisons. It would be awful and wonderful at the same time.

Oh wow I thought I was the only one 😃 I love when the Dr looks in my nose or ears. It is so up close and intimate you can feel her breath it is so arousing.

Yes! When I was at medical school of course we practised otoscopy on each other, and the one time I had it done - by a guy who was and remains a very good friend but not in *that* way - I was astonished and slightly alarmed to find myself getting rather turned on. Never told anyone that one before! ... and haven't tried it since....

I've worked as a music performer and for one particular tour, it was decided to have all the musicians wear inner ear plugs instead of having a monitor on stage to hear the music. These ear plugs had to be custom molded (similar to hearing aids), and during rehearsals, a man came over to make the molds. The way he worked is that first he checked your ears with an otoscope (for any molding problems or too much earwax), then he'd take a syringe full of molding material that he'd fill your ears with. You sit around for a minute as it dries - a weird experience because your ears are totally stuffed with drying rubbery putty and you're just about deaf. Then he takes out the hardened putty so it can be made into a mold.

I never had as much as a thing for ear exams, but still there was something about watching him examine the ears of my fellow musicians this way.

My ears, they are the magic switch that turns everything on in my body. I actually bite down hard on my tongue to keep from becoming aroused. My GP once asked at the beginning of a physical if I bit my tongue out of nervousness. I said yes. He asked why, I blushed and said not important. Knowing him very well and he knowing me very well, he asked again. I told him upfront. He chuckled. He said useful information for a partner, lover, husband. We both had a very good hearted laugh.

I agree faux, re ears being a zone that can make you aroused. i too have this reaction anytime in a medical play scenario...chest too also works for me.especially if its a gloved hand .

Examining the ears and throat early in the top - down complete well woman examination establishes that I, as the doctor will be looking in and probing all of her orifices.

I think they are exciting depending on how the doctor performs the ears examination.

The tympanometry test is kinda interesting to me.

I also enjoy having an ear speculum inserted into my ear, particularly for wax removal. It's not really a sexual feeling per se but perhaps still is in the realm of fetish.

I always had bad ears as a child, ear infections, hearing loss. They thought at one point I might go totally deaf, so once a yr I had to go to one of the bigger towns to get extensive testing done at a deaf and blind school. Normal testing but than this lady was like we have to measure your ear, she put a weird plug in my ear. Honestly if there is anyone that knows the name of this let me know. Anyways put this plug in my ear, and it sucks your ear cannal around it, it does this about three times. I can't explain the sensation, but it was amazing. So every yr I looked forward to having my ears examined. I finally stopped going when I was 12, didn't really think about it until my husband started working for a medical place and he had orientation with an audiologist, he was telling her about my hearing problems and she was like would she be willing to come in for some tests, I'm always interested in different cases and learning more. So he came home and asked me if I would go meet her. Sure, why not. So had the regular test, than she goes, alright this next one measures your ear, omg I got so giddy. She must of noticed cause she was like oh you have had this one before, I told her many times. Yep same as when I was a child, the sensational feeling of having my ear sucked in. Odd to think something as having an ear appt could be a huge turn on, but it's a thing!!

Over the years I have issues with ear infections to the point I lose my hearing for a week or two. It does tickle a little when the doctor does look in my ears.

I like that exam too. They don't do it anymore where I go for physicals which I think is kind of dumb. But I am going to bring it up. Others have told me they still get this exam done (where the doc looks in the ear). Honestly very disappointed with the stuff they removed from my yearly exams.

I have always enjoyed the feeling when the doctor's otoscope goes into my ear. It wasn't until very recently that similar feelings led to being turned on. In the doctor's office, the otoscope in my ear just felt good... not necessarily sexy.

The highly skilled LMT I see regularly, a lovely woman in her mid-40s, includes elements in her massages that I hadn't experienced before: and one of them is following her massage to my face and scalp with massage to both outer ears (helix, antihelix and concha.) This feels very warm and relaxing, in itself.
