An intetesting thread that is about 14 years old. Many posters are no longer with us, for many reasons I'm sure. Undoubtedly things have evolved through the years and decades.
While the em…bare…ass…ment factor has greatly diminished, I still try to show good taste when expecting family or friends. My enema drawer is not locked, but only stocked with items for regular use. I'm sure that snoops may be aware of utilization.
I put away my “collection” of vintage or unique items in areas unlikely to get rummaged through if I'm still alive and kicking. Hopefully, it will mostly get liquidated or repurposed before that time is imminent. There is no need for it to be found later on.
I still enjoy that Victoria hangs around and is ready, willing, and able to address any immediate needs or signs of distress. She is dismissed if family, friends, or grand kids are given free run of the house.
In my household growing up, or friend's or other's where I was remodeling bathrooms etc., it was very common to find enema/douche bags hanging around.
In one instance, I was reworking a bathroom where an elderly couple (related) had 2 bags hanging. I put them in a vanity drawer as I worked creating dust and paint specks, only to find one or both hanging up again. Over the 2 weeks of effort, this occurred a few times as I left the toilet and sink operable.
I had been asked the 1st time where they went, and was asked if it was a problem for them to use the water and toilet. I was told that somtimes it was necessary to use an enema “to have a bowel motion”. I replied that I understood as we often got an enema at home and the enema bag was always hanging up to dry.
