I am a klysmaphile and also take enemas!
I am a klysmaphyle and have been so since childhood. However, my main reason for using enemas is for health
reasons. I believe that a clean body is the beginning of a
clear clean, mind. I also believe that foreign, concocted
chemicals have no place in the body. That brings me to
a favorite subject, chemical laxatives. I have long wondered what damage, often called side effects,
these chemicals do to our bodies. That reluctance to use them extends to the little four ounce enemas and oral laxatives that are currently sold in drug stores. If you read the label, on these products, you might become
reluctant too.
On Dec. 12, the C. B. Fleet company issued a leter stating
that Phiso Soda (sodium phosphate) causes nephropathy.
Here is a product designed to make you poop but then it
destroys your kidneys and leaves you feeling miserable
for days. The following is a quote from that letter.
"The purpouse of this letter is to inform you that effective Dec. 12, 2008, C. B. Fleet Company, Inc. ("C.B.
Fleet") ceased distribution and initiated a voluntary
recall of the following oral sodium phosphates solution
products ("OSP products") which have been available over
the counter for bowel cleansing prior to colonoscopy and
other procedures:
Fleet Phospho-Soda Oral Saline Laxitive
Fleet Phospho-Soda EZ-PREP Bowel Cleansing System
Generally, I prefer not to take unnecessary risks with my health and have used plain tap water enemas for over 50
years. Oft times the older, simpler remedies are the best.
