My first large volume enema was from a porcelain enamel (enema) irrigator in a hospital. I was probably 9 or 10 getting my tonsils out. The nurse came and got me saying come with me little boy. We went into a very large bathroom/treatment room. She turned to me and said “I’m going to give you an enema now, have you ever had one before”. I said yes and noticed there was a white porcelain can full of soapy water with a red hose connected to the outlet.
Although I said I had had an enema, I had only gotten one from a 4 Oz bulb syringe. I knew what a large volume enema was from conversations with friends. I was somewhat scared, but also excited that I was going to experience a big enema.
She had me take off my tiddy whitey’s saying take you panties all the way off. I was also told to lay down in a large bathtub on a towel. Next I heard her humming and paper rustling, which was probably unwrapping of the nozzle. Next she said take a deep breath and hold it, whereupon I felt her spread my cheeks and insert the lubricated nozzle, much larger than the bulb I was used too. Next, a click and a rush of warm water, thinking to myself it was a lot of water, but more comfortable than the high pressure squeeze from the bulb.
I expected it to end quick, but the nurse started a conversation about my family. This distracted me and soon she said, “let me know when you have to go potty”. Well I probably had at least a quart of soapy water in me, so I said I have to go right now. Another click and the nozzle was removed, and the nurse said, don’t flush after your done. I sat on the toilet where I expected the usual dribble dribble plop plop, instead I got a huge rush of water, and gut cramps accompanied by more liquid output. It was much more than I had ever experienced. Even though I didn’t hear or feel any plops, it was clear the toilet was full of poop.
After that, I couldn’t wait to get another large enema, but that wouldn’t happen for 4 more years.
