Brutal i said and brutal i ment.. other terms might include sadistic....,,giving a woman in late stage labor a soapy enema can hardly be described as an act of kindness..please dont put words in my mouth...
it wasnt so long ago the "wise doctors" would go to the morgue in the morning and carve on some dead body,, then without even washing their hands head on over to the maternity ward to do pelvic exams on the women ,, then wonder why so many died!
conventional medical wisdom has come a long way, at least they stopped bleeding patients to death... and the church no longer controls it..however the modern medical community still ignores natural healing methods and often fights vigorusly the use of natural vitamins, herbs, massage, accupuncture, nutrition, etc....
when i was a kid growing up we ate natural foods including lard and butter, then someone figured out a way to hydrogenate oils and we were told that lard and butter wasn't good ,, and hydrogenated oils was.....
whoops! now they are saying hydrogenated is bad!
truth be known the modern medical community while having made great improvements, still all too often have little regard for the patient and more regard for their own motives..
one example would be the stagering number of ceasarian section births... more often for the convienience of the doctor than for the health of the patients (mother /child).. most doctors have no desire to waste their valuable time waiting hours for labor to progress naturally...
within the current state of medical practice is a conflict of interest,, corporate profits,,, patent medicines and expensive procedures are used when something as simple as an enema is rejected and discredited... sure you cant do a double blind placebo controlled trial study on enemas, you either got one or not....
today millions and millions of dollars are spent on laxatives, when a simple enema can do a better job and costs the patient nothing...
anal fissures are a huge source of income for surgeons, when in most cases simple warm water enemas and anal massage and dilation can do a better job of relieving the pain in the butt...
colon cancer is still on the rise,,most likely because of chemicals in our food and the fact that many folks are constipated and dont know it or care to admit it....
diseases like ibs and infections from super bugs are the direct result of over use of antibiotics...
doctors do what doctors are taught,

vince2001, I just re-read the posts previous to this one and I want to ask you; just who do you think was "putting words in your mouth"?
