I added a dissolved Magic Bullet bisacodyl suppository to a large volume enema yesterday morning and had an amazing and thorough cleanout. I had not had any kind of bowel movement in 7 days and was miserable. Because of a busy schedule, it was not possible to use bisacodyl tablets, and my colon was way too clogged for a bisacodyl suppository to be of much benefit. A plaint tap water enema was also not going to be effective given how backed up I was. I wasn't even sure that soapsuds would work.
In the past, I had tried dissolving bisacodyl tablets in a baking soda solution and grinding up the resulting powder. I had some moderate success with that approach, but the bisacodyl was not as effective as soapsuds. Yesterday, I dissolved a water soluble Magic Bullet suppository in about 8 ounces of very hot water. It took about 20 minutes to completely melt. I added that mixture to about 1.6 liters of warm tap water in a disposable enema bag. I assumed the Sims position on the shower floor with the bag suspended about 4-5 feet above me. I wanted to make sure that I had adequate pressure to push the enema solution deep into my colon. As the flow started, I could feel the solution burning slightly. It took about 4 minutes to complete the enema and, by that time, I was starting to feel dull, rhythmic cramping in my lower abdomen. After a couple of more minutes, the cramps were truly intense - even worse than what I get from a Dulcolax suppository. My belly was as hard as a rock during the contractions. Very soon, I realized that I had to get to the toilet or end up expelling all over the shower floor.
The evacuation was epic. The hard cramps continued as I involuntarily pushed out the enema and the contents of my impacted colon. I was starting to get nauseated and light-headed. The expulsions were not really relieving the cramps, which just kept coming for about 30 minutes. I was starting to worry that I might not make it to work at all. Finally, the enema ran its course, and I realized that I felt much better even though I was spent. Surprisingly, I did not have to return to the bathroom at all yesterday, except once to pass a lot of mucous that was generated by the chemical assault on the lining of my colon. All in all, this is probably the most intense and effective enema that I have had other than the dreaded M&M.
