Nudism is NOT kinky!!!

This is a topic that should be listed elsewhere. Many many nudists carry out everyday normal functions while nude, as I do. I love kinky & nudism (currently living in a nude community), but the two are NOT necessarily connected.

You are absolutely right . Although I don't live in a nudist area/camp because of all my health problems I am most often in just a T shirt .

It depends on the context one uses nudism. If you do not live the nudist life it could be kinky to you. A special experience of being exposed and viewable by others.

For me being nude is not my normal. I do not expose myself that way except for specific sexual circumstances with my sub. I am hoping to expand that time and experience this summer. Warmer weather is better for nude outdoor activity in Iowa.

I would certainly hope that nudity be enjoyable.

And one has to admit that in our society (and in the usual climatological circumstances) nudity is not natural either, so there is an element of pushing norms and boundaries further than otherwise. So it is a sort of deviant behavior, even if there is no overt sexual component.

Nudism Or partial nudism Is or has been part of my life for nearly 50 years or more. Wife and I owned gold claim's, after 8 or 10 hours under water getting the wet suit off needed help. Very first thing needed was washing the wet suit. Most would not think how bad a wet suit will stink after that many hours under water. So need help getting it off then help getting it washed, need help getting a shower, {55 gallon drum painted black in the sun } And after that many hours in the suit you really don't want to get dressed. At most a house coat will do until next morning.

That was my way of life from last weekend of April to mid or late October. It was my sole income. Now in my old age I live with a catheter, I have to clean or tend to so often, Unless I need to go out at most I wear a T shirt. If anyone comes to my door they better know what they are going to see. Crap every day, pants off, clean the catheter, lube the catheter 4 times a day. Hook up to hanging bag, hook up to hanging small bag to get around the house, hook up to leg bag to go outside. To hell with wearing pants.

To make coffee would mean take pants off, unhook from static bag, hook up to hanging bag, pull up pants, make coffee, take off pants unhook from hanging bag, hook up to static bag, put movie on dvd player ? repeat above. Make breakfast ??? repeat above ? Make lunch, make dinner. If you come to my door you better know what to expect to see.

Winter here I kept my home like a sauna inside. This summer as is my custom I don't close my front door, just the screen door. Thankfully no one lives close by. I can and often have takin my trash out to the road with just a T shirt on {with one of my quads }. I go though a lot of T shirts. Only one pair of pants a month.

I’d agree with the proposition. Nudism is not kinky, and it’s certainly not mainstream either.

I think parts of society simply conflate the two because of their discomfort with the notion of nudism. And so they lob it into the category ‘kinky’ because it’s another thing to do with naked bodies that they don’t participate in nor understand.

I’m sure many nudists are pretty vanilla sexually, many of your clothed neighbours enjoy giant dildos, bondage, piercing, latex, medical play or a combination of them all and there’s the intersection set of us who enjoy nudism and kinky fun stuff, too.

So I’m a kinky nudist, and I was kinky looong before I was nude. My girlfriend is nude but not kinky at all. ( more’s the pity ).

All four of us here don't think being nude is kinky. Now if you ask my mom and dad they would say it is. My parents were very strict. My sister is two years older than I am. She paved the way to get Mom and Dad to let us wear bikinis and we lived on a lake, go figure. They would not call nudism kinky, They would probably say it is wrong and vulgar or something. If we were at home we always had to have something on. We even had to sleep in PJs. If you took a bath and forgot your PJs or whatever you were going to put on, you better not get caught running across the hall to our room.

That is why we stay nude when we are at home. Even my sister, her girlfriend, and her girlfriend's niece. It's like a rebellion. Of course if someone comes over we get dressed.

Nudism is not kinky. But it is rebellious. Hence the nude beach vs. the clothed beach.

No I don't think nudism is on the kinky side. I used to go to a nudist camp on the weekends a few years ago. it wasn't a big deal after you were there for a while. once you see one naked person they all look the same. the nice thing about being naked you can get a good tan. also this place was on a lake and I was able to drowned a few worms while I was there. (catching fish and being naked is a blast)

Having gone to a few nude beaches in my younger daze (sp intentional), nudism for me was kinky, voyeuristic. It didn’t seem to be a lifestyle, just people wanting to expose themselves, show off their bodies and enjoy viewing others. These were all adult only venues.
