Did you ever play dentists as a child ?

Anyone ever play dentists ?

my friends older brother used to love playing drs and nurses , he also loved being a dentist and would ask me to open wide and then count my teeth , and scraps at them with anything he had that looked like a dental tool , i didn’t really feel comfy with it if i’m honest , he used a teaspoon as the mirror and would comment on my fillings , and tell me i needed more , and that it would hurt .

i wonder if he ever became a dentist ??

Yes a few times

Surprisingly a lot, I have no idea why I did this as a child but I would frequently do scenarios out in the playground with the other weird kid who would just go along with it. I didn't examine teeth just pretended to, when I was at home I did use a spoon as well as a mirror XD I even used to turn my school shirt back to front to look like a dental jacket almost. I even at one point did pretend dental one with another neighbours kid and I also used a radiator clothes rack which is a metal covered in a small layer of plastic that has one solid line for hanging extra clothes and then another one above it but at an angle somewhat and I would put that in my mouth pretending it was a gag. Honestly remembering all this makes me wonder what was going on in my life at that time haha.

P.S - Found out that thing is called a 2-bar radiator Airer.

All I remember is roping my younger sister into being my dental patient like once or twice. I just looked in her mouth for a bit and tapped her teeth with a pen. She wasn't a very cooperative patient though. I wanted to look at her back molars but she refused to open wide enough, lol.

Yes. I remember playing dentist in kindergarten, it was about brushing each other's teeth, and looking at Inside each other's mouth. It was the early 2000's and I had amalgams in all my milk teeth so I was ashamed to show my teeth so nd usually I and my male friend were in the role of dentist. Some years later, in elementary school, I would play doctor with my friends and I would Always take the oportunity to check their mouths. I remember enjoying the view od cavities and some fillings.

This has brought back a memory from my early childhood. I use to use our upright vacuum cleaner as the gas machine the plug was used as the mask and the fabric back represented the breathing balloon Spent hours gasing my teddy bear

Yes, very often with my cousins and the neighborhood kids, the very beginning of my dental fetish 😃

We played something like that rather rarely. Now and then when fooling around.

I found a friend more interesting at the time. She had fun telling about her visits to the dentist - how they drilled and so on. With me she found a very attentive listener ;-)
