@Bpfetishdoc
Hello and good evening,
I take my blood pressure daily myself, or have my blood pressure taken daily, by my roommate. I have suffered from a congenital heart defect since birth. Since then, I have developed other diseases over the course of my life.
Right now my blood pressure is quite high. 205/160mmhg on the left, 215/170mmhg on the right. My pulse is 112bpm, my oxygen saturation is 88%. Right now, the hot weather and some complications regarding my illnesses are getting to me.
In a way yes, the cuff had to be fully inflated to 300mmhg.
My roommate has measured my blood pressure, with a manual meter and a Littmann stethoscope.
As already mentioned, the cuff had to be fully inflated to 300mmhg.
I have to measure blood pressure daily, both on the arms, as well as on the wrists, ankle cuffs and thighs, for example: ABI index measurement, 8-point measurement.
The highest blood pressure ever measured was 364/295mmhg. This value was measured in the hospital, by my American heart specialist. I was feeling very bad that day.
I have a roommate who is a nurse by profession. She often measures her own values. But when she is sick, I am allowed to take her measurements and listen to her heart.
All the best and best regards to you.
