Hi, all community ! Now this was so important thread to read , fit just for the Psychology Corner. I think that mental health problems are extremely complex, caused not by biology alone, also life experience ( down side of it) and type of one's psyche .
So, looks like no yes/no, black/white answers...... Just like alcohol, IMHO, enemas can be sort of depressant, while you're in it, you can forget all the world with it's crap ,concentrate on your body and senses, but for the price, I think. Enemas are internally connected to one's sexuality ( IMHO) , so you hide from the outside world using power of biology, you can feel better after, ..but how long ? Problems in surrounding territory stay the same, sometimes I personally feel alien from people because of my enema/sexuality , so it all can worsen with time.
Also when you seek help from doctors it's important to find person you can trust and have common ground of attitude towards the world we live in..... is it easy if you're seriously depressed ? I don't know , being diagnosed of depression in 2014, not getting any medicine nor being able to find Psychotherapist I can trust to. In my humble mind I'm afraid that enemas are another form of countless addictions ''invented'' to cope with living the life as such. Taking this in account I still do 'em, but not feeling proud, rather feeling defeated and addicted. Who said that truth is the best ?
