What in the way of thermometers for rectal temperature taking do you prefer to see in an image of an adult having their rectal temperature taken?

A glass mercury?

A GERATHERM?

A digital?

A electronic probe?

Glass mercury of course.

On a photo, the digital thermometter, if correctly inserted in the girl's ass, tends to disappear.

2. Digital thermometer

I prefer a glass mercury rectal thermometer.

Glass mercury USA style. Also, the thermometer needs to be in at least ½ its length, IE 2 inches, into the rectum.

So many RT photos seem to show the thermometer ready to fall out

A Geratherm lends itself best to art and photography due to it’s size, but for closeups nothing beats a mercury!

Any of those will do, honestly, but since this question is about preference I'll doubtless echo what many have already said.

Glass mercury is top of the running, followed very closely by geratherm. I think digital thermometers actually look fine, though.

Only glass mercury. I won't even use the other types.

Traditional glass thermometer

My preference is a glass mercury, or Geratherm thermometer, but any of the choices are preferable to nothing at all. I like to see a beautiful pink anus, with the thermometer inserted, and a small blanket of Vaseline.

I can tell you I love glass rectal thermometers both prismatic and Geratherm. Hottest rectal temperature taking pictures and videos you can find are with glass rectal thermometers.

Digital thermometers…..meh. Electronic probes, better. Geratherms are somewhat erotic. But a glass mercury rectal thermometer sticking out of a nice pair of cheeks? Ooh la la.

Never really thought about it since in this house Mom is so well stocked with them, anyway. But, I guess if I ever got into other visuals it would be the same glass/mercury type we use.

The old Mercury Thermometers are nice and for the feeling I totally prefer Glas thermometers no matter if Mercury or Geratherm.

But in a pic the digital ones also look good.

Basically I like most pics of thermometers or plugs or anythin sticking out off a butt….

A picture is worth a thousand words! So yes, seeing someone retaining a glass thermometer is a very powerful image either with his or her underwear down at thighs or naked. I don't much like one's that appear unrealistic or overtly sexual. For me, it is contrary to my thoughts about having a RT taken!

Glass mercury thermometer with the woman otk, pants down or naked with the thermometer sticking out between her cheeks. Her legs could also be spread as well to ensure easier insertion. I love seeing the red tip on the top of the thermometer sticking out of her ass and sometimes grasp it to move it in and out.

Nothing beats seeing a glass rectal thermometer peeking from between the cheeks of a beautiful, shapely ass! Unless, of course it would be INSTALLING one! LOL!

I would have to say glass mercury and it's not even close. First, it's what I grew up with, so it triggers the strongest emotions. Second, there's something so beautifully shaped about the glass mercury rectal thermometer, its perfect thinness, with the red tip at the top and the stubby bulb at the bottom (and in the bottom). I have fond memories of my mother cupping my bottom with her hand as she took my temperature, but there's also something nice about the fact that the thermometer, if the patient lies still, can stay between the buttocks on its own, without assistance. Whenever I've tried to do that on myself with one of the modern digital thermometers, I always find, because of its shape, that it eventually falls out and has to be reinserted. I only try digital thermometers lying on my side, whereas growing up I was always face down on my tummy when my temperature was taken rectally. Just no comparison.

Mercury, glass first , then geratherm

Glass, Mercury, panties slid down to her mid thigh. Plenty of vaseline on & in the anus. Placement of the jar of vaseline. Otk.

I prefer a glass mercury thermometer. We have a digital one but it is second choice.

I guess the feedback here is everyone prefers the old fashioned glass thermometer. So do I , so who want me to take their temperature!😉

Back in the 70's, for several years, I had a fantastic girlfriend who was very much into medfet. Every time we had sex, she imposed on me a mock medical exam, which allways ended with her taking my rectal temperature on her lap. She then used a standard mercury glass thermometer and let it register for at least five minutes. It felt so good.

Of course, she often let me take her temperature . I remember the joke she repeted on several occasions. As I was playing with the deep inserted thermometer, having it moving slowly back and forth into her rectum, as if it were making love to her ass, she said: ‘’'You know, my favorite thermometer is your penis''.

No contest. Glass thermometer every time. After all, you're not really interested in the actual temperature, are you?

For me, a huge part of the pleasure of a rectal temperature comes from the intimacy. So, apart from any consideration of nostalgia, the fact that glass thermometers require several minutes to register makes them much more erotic.

I always like to see the thermometer's reading when it comes out. To use a thermometer and not read it after seems odd to me.
