I first came across this subject last year and this is my honourest response.
At the moment as of now no-body assists me changing myself in and out of diapers/nappies as the last time that happened was when I was 6-9 years of age,
However I am thinking more about that because my incontinance problems aren’t going away and eventually at some point in my future there will come a time when I will once more need to be in diapers 24/7 in the near future,
And this would mean I would need to get a care giver to look after my needs should I need to go down that path in the future which is likely to happen later in my life.
Should this happen then yes I would need to be assisted as I find it difficult by myself and probebebly would need to be ready to regress back to a toddler like state at least physically speaking.
And all of this coming from someone who will be 41 as of October 2021, and this from someone who didn’t see this coming unti a decade ago in 2010 when I turned 30 and became partially incontinent.
As this was when my body kind of forced me to adapt to a new or old way of life depending on how you look at it.
I think in another decade or two let's say when I am in my 50's or 60's I might well become fully regressed both Physically and mentally to the point where I will literally by back at square one and once more be back to the stage I was when I was a little child or back before the age of 6–9 and a half, when I stopped wearing diapers,
however speaking of my early childhood on a personal note I was toilet trained at the age of 4 years of age but had to wear diapers due to bed wetting accidents, until I was nearly 10 years of age, see my earlier replies for more details.
However look at it I think its a no brainer as they say that I will become like a baby/infant again with all that that entails because I know it going to happen its not if but when and is only a matter of time relitively speaking and I will be ready for it when it happens.
And when it does I would have gone full circle so to speak of quite literally.
