It would depend upon where I lived.
The water in Los Angeles tastes horrid and has things floating in it which you can see if you hold it up to the light in a glass. I use a filter before drinking it. I would NEVER use it for an enema. Same thing for Riverside, California.
The water in Long Beach,CA used to taste wonderful and was clear when you held a glass up to the light. Every place I've lived had a different quality of water. I'm a huge water drinker (Mom took sodas away when I was a kid). If I can't stand to drink it, then I would not use it in an enema.
Update: @duhwizzard I want to be clear. I do NOT use bottled water at home and rarely use it when traveling. I use a water filter for all of the water I drink. At my mother's, the fridge has a built-in water filter so both the ice and water from the fridge's water dispenser tastes great. At my apartment, I use one of those large Pur water dispensers for my drinking water. I use 16 or 18 oz glass water bottles which I fill and keep in the fridge instead of buying or using plastic ones. It's both better ecologically and taste-wise, at least for me.
@Moppys_jalopy IF I can see things floating in the water, I'm not putting it inside me. While Cali supposedly has tight controls on their water, there is a huge difference in taste and quality between the different municipalities where the water treatment plants are located. The water in different cities tastes and looks very different.
So in LA, filtered water just as they use at Colonic Clinics. In other places where the water looks clear and tastes good to great such as Long Beach, tap is fine.
My two cents! Okay, now I'm up to five cents.
