I am a huge fan of latex gloves, but recently I have completely converted to nitrile so there is little risk of an allergic reaction. I have been a great fan of the Cranberry Carbon Nitrile Glove, 3.2 mil. they are the perfect thickness for me. not too thin that they break easily and not to think that they feel like oven mitts. And it also helps that the black color looks amazing on everyone who wears it.
My pediatriian always used purple latex gloves while checking my privates. When I was examined with my sister the ped also used the purple gloves on my sister when it was time for her external vagina exam.
For me, the color is of no importance. The “Snap” is crucial. So whatever color glove conveys the immediacy of what is to take place works for me. There is nothing that duplicates that sound as far as I am concerned. Hearing it means something personal is going to occur.
