If you can manage it, I would get both a bulb and a bag, and see which you prefer for what.
For your bulb syringe, I would suggest an imported bulb, such as those from Ukraine on eBay and elsewhere, with a soft tip and a capacity of about 360ml.
The soft tip is a lot more comfortable for the recipient than the traditional hard tip. The 360 ml size is about 12 Oz and is small enough to be squeezed easily, but one bulb full is plenty of solution to make an adult poo, and if you you want more solution, 3 full squeezes will get a quart into you. Thjey cost about $10 plus about another for $8 shipping but should last a lifetime.
For a bag, there are a couple of options. Either will fill someone with an enema.
First, there are the disposable enema bags. Typically these hold about 1500ml, a few a larger amount. My preference is for the "center hang" type, as by MDI, but most any brand is serviceable. With these the rectal nozzle is usually the tubing, with the end smoothed and a couple of eyes added. They are typically about 5/16" outside diameter. These are supposed to be inserted about 4" but can easily be lipped in 8" to 10" fr better and more comfortable results. They are also very unobtrusive in luggage and I always take one along when traveling. They are great if you need help to poo on the road. Depending on where you buy them, they cost between $1 and $5.
Then there are the "real" enema bags, either Combination or Fountain Syringe (open top) styles. You can buy a Combination type for about $12 sat most chain drug stores or on line. Fountain syringes seem to be only on-line these days. A good quality 2 quart Fountain costs about $20 and will give many years of service. My personal preference is for an all silicone setup, with a clear bag. Functionally, they are the same as tye others, but silicone is more inert. This matters if you want to try a coffee enema. These bags come with the standard rectal and vaginal nozzles, but you should consider getting a colon tube. A reasonable silicon bag set is likely to cost about $30.
If your bag does not come with an "S" hook, consider buying one. They are a couple of dollars, but are very convenient.
There are a few other options, but the above covers the basics.
