Ok so my wife has been having tremors on her right hand on and off as well as numbness and tingling on her right foot mostly, for about the same time.
We went to our PCP earlier this year and she did some bloodwork that all came back normal and did an MRI of her brain to rule out MS. The MRI was clear so they sent us to a neurologist which took months to be seen and we saw her today.
The Dr is running some bloodwork to Test for autoimmune diseases such as Lupus, Lymes, etc. and also doing an MRI of her neck because sometimes you can have MS and not have lesions on your brain but have it on your spinal cord.
Obviously MS is scary as hell.
From what I read only abou 5% of people who have MS have a clean brain MRI. Is that correct?
She was in a car accident years ago and got hit from the left side and her neck has never been the same. A pinched nerve or bulging disk can also be the problem but my wife didn’t mention the accident to the doctor because she wants her to be thorough.
She’s pretty healthy other than having endometriosis and hashimoto’s. She’s 5’4 and weighs 250lbs.
Really looking for medical professionals who can give me their opinion, seeing as doctors won’t give you an opinion or hunch anymore due to fear of being sued.
Thank you!
