For me the "best part" is the feeling you get of being overwhelmed with volume. Its difficult to describe. What I found is, the more volume you take, and the more you take enemas, the less of this feeling you get. The other "best part" is the stretching of the colon. As I increase volume, for the first few enemas in a series, I get these strange small spasms, Or maybe call it popping, or as if someone is grabbing my colon.
@water wetter, you've just described my own feelings perfectly. The most satisfying enemas for me are the ones that bring me to the point of being "overwhelmed with volume". When I can feel the fullness in my entire colon starting to resist further inflow due to backpressure, with evident tautness and bulging. I know I'm very full, but if I pull out all stops and allow myself just that little bit of extra water at this point, I too feel this "popping", and it is as if a second bonus phase of filling is unlocked. It's a small margin beyond being full where I then get truly overwhlemed and really have to stop, but once I'm there, for those few seconds, the feeling of that extra stretch and pressure is exquisite.
On that note I think there is a lot to be said for getting use to, and becoming accustom to taking enemas. I feel this is important to really enjoying them.
Indeed. I don't think I would have ever learnt to identify what was required to get my "ideal" filling without getting used to taking lots and lots of enemas, both the great and not-so-great ones, to figure out my body and its sensations.
I start to get real full around 3 quarts. Years ago this overwhelming feeling started at about 2 to 2-1/2 quarts, but now 3. It only accrues just as you are being filled. Once you stop the water flow withing a minute or so, the feeling subsides. After several enemas in a series, this feeling is at the 3-1/2 to 3-3/4 volume.
These are the quanitites that do it for me also. If I haven't had enemas for a long time, the "best part" for me begins beyond 3 quarts, and if I have been doing them regularly, or have taken at least 3 or even 4 enemas prior to the final one in a session, then it has been almost 3.5 quarts. The magic is in getting there, by spending good time on the initial cleaning enemas and their expulsion to remove every obstructing bit of gas and solids from the colon. Then, during the final enema, I can usually get to 3 quarts without stopping, before I slow down for receiving the final contents of the bag. It's almost like a reward for being patient and relaxed, and not ending the session early.
