Enema newbie

I’m not sure if this belongs here or in the ass play discussions, while I do not have a fetish for enemas themselves, I love ass play and I want to go all the way. I’ve only ever had medium sized dildos or fingers in there. I want to be fully cleansed first before doing anything with my partner. What is the best enema to use? The store bought Fleet? Water? What kind of water, I have heard a bunch of condescending arguments on both sides. I live in a place where the tap water is chlorinated, people say not to use tap water if it is. People ALSO say to use distilled either with salt or nothing at all. Eurgh. All of this information makes the enema in itself intimidating and perhaps a bit scary because of possible complications. (my hypochondria is showing) but dammit, I wanna be clean. I’m usually constipated so thats why I’d prefer to use an enema.

I dont have an enema bulb yet, I’m probably going to get a Fleet nozzle enema and either use that or clean it out and use whatever people recommend here as they are cheaper than bulbs themselves.

A little tap water in a bag (one pint or less I’d say). Repeat if returns too dirty

I’m not an expert either, but my limited experience indicates that Pecan is right. A few shallow flushes to clean out the rectum and you’re good for dildo play. If you get water into the colon and don’t flush it all all out, you’ll have a mess. Keep it simple. I used to use tap water, now I use distilled water that I buy by the gallon at the convenience store cheaply... just to be safe. A cheap syringe is fine. Some, like the new cheap Rite-Aid ones leak all over the place and are too cheaply made. Go to Amazon and find one with good reviews. 300 ml is more than plenty. I hope this helps.
