Disposable underwear for procedures

I had my tonsils and was given a gown and a pair of small, semi-seethrough paper briefs to wear underneath instead of being naked. Does anyone have any interesting stories about wearing these?

Nothing interesting; they’re fairly common in surgery, though. I’ve worn them, as have my kids.

I've never seen them. I was knocked out when I got into the OR and woke up with a cath in. I'm sure I was stripped naked as soon as I went out. I don't remember a thing so I guess it worked for me. I was never offered anything in the 5 days after either.

I've never been offered anything like that... Always nothing under gown.

I like to dispose underwear. Every time I've been to the looney bin. The us make us wear disposable underwear were at the first day or so in a gown.

I’ve never worn the disposable hospital panties, and I would probably be uncomfortable if I was asked to wear them, but in my mind I like the idea of even having that last little bit of modesty controlled by the doctor.

I put them on over top of my actual panties once when I was a teen because I didn’t know any better lol

Disposable underwear I have not seen but bathing suits at the Hot Springs in Banff are common.

I had an ultrasound exam on the veins in my legs and they gave me a pair of paper boxers to wear. They cut the legs for access to the inside of my groin.

Never been asked to wear disposable underwear ? Hmmm

Maybe it's because I am incontinent and wear my own disposable underwear everytime ,LOL could it bee that simple ?

I am an MVA survivor,192 days in traction no one asks me anything about my diapers. I think I would tell them if they asked, that I am not incontinent. I am very comfortable in my diapers and I don't care who knows. They can keep their products.

These are actually kind of comfortable, at least to me.

I got one recently for my knee surgery. The nurse ask to completely undress. She said I can wear a pair of those disposable briefs. I wore them for just a few minutes. Quite embarassing and useless they stood fluffy and loose around the waist and they are completely transparent. I gave them back to the nurse. Her answer floored me: -OK so at least I would not waste my time then, removing them from you for the cathetherization-.

I was given some “one-size-fits-all” paper shorts and tee shirt once for an MRI. I could have made a tent and awning out of them and gone camping!!!!! They're disposable - so I asked and they let me take them home. Wore the shorts for my wife as a joke!

My main interest is surgical roleplay, so I prefer my patients to at least change into these underwear to start.

Got knee X-raY. Tech gave me loose paper garment looking like bloomers for modesty.

When i have gone for colonoscopy given large paper pants with a slit up the arse better than just a gown.

When I went for circumcision, they gave me the stockings, two gowns and a pair of these.

I put the briefs on, when stretched, they have a really mesh appearance, and the stockings and the two gowns, first back open, then front open over the top, as instructed.

When I walked into the OR, I took off the top gown, and laid down on the bed so the back open gown draped down and I guess they could lift it easily. They put ecg leads on the top of my shoulders, inserted the IV and off I went.

I was really surprised that when I woke up in recovery, I still had the briefs on, pulled back up, with my bandaged penis inside them. They're pretty fragile, it must have been tricky to pull them back up - I guess they didn't lower them much! It probably helped to keep everything in place

I did then of course keep them when I got dressed and changed to leave the hospital later that day, still have them!

Consider yourself lucky. I had that same test, the tech had me keep my regular boxer shorts on. He kept sliding the ultrasound wand - with all that gel - up into the legs of my boxer shorts. Most of the test was done at the crease where you leg meets your groin. By the time he was done my boxer shorts were soaked with the ultrasound gel and I had to drive 40 minutes home that way. I wish he had just told me to remove my boxer shorts.

I’ve worn these before and kind of liked them. In a play setting, I’d love them included. As you’ll learn from most of my posts, my main interest is dental fetish, particularly oral surgery, and I think these would add an interesting element to that scene.

When I had my last knee x-ray at Rockwood Imaging, I was given disposable shorts. They were thicker than paper and didn't tear easy. I still don't know what they were made out of.

They didn't give us anything when I went for x-rays to the VA in Shreveport. Another male patient saw me in panties and t-shirt without a bra and I saw him in his underwear. It weird that there was a window between x-ray rooms.

Oh and when I had a flexible sigmoidoscopy I was given a pair of disposable shorts that had a large slit in the back so i could keep them on and they could just access my hole, first in the waiting ward where a nurse gave me a fleet enema, and then in the procedure room itself.

They gave me two Gowns to wear, the opposite ways round, to walk there through the holding wards.

Since I am both diaper /physically dependent on staff , I never get your thin paper underwear , but in my very experienced opinion a hospital diaper is so low quality it’s just about the same . You get more absorbent napkins in the bag with your cheeseburger at the drive thru than a hospital diaper .
