Did a lot of you refuse to undress to your underwear without a gown for a physical with your pediatrician growing up? I used to wish I could but I was afraid to because I presumed it was mandatory. I have heard that lots of pediatricians will be nice enough to let patients keep most clothes on if they refuse to strip to underwear. Any of you have this type of experience?

I was never offered a gown, nor did I refuse to undress. For medicals, we were always required to undress down to underpants before going in to se the doctor. For gp visits or exams when my mother was present, I would always undress as instructed. If I hadn’t, it would have guaranteed me a spanking when I got home.
