My longest hold time came as a bit of a surprise. Following a series of high-volume cleanouts of up to 3 quarts, I had originally made a goal of holding for 30 minutes, starting with an open top bag of diluted half strength very warm green tea, which when filled right up to overflowing holds 2 1/4 quarts. It went in easily and comfortably, and I inserted a small plug to help with holding it in. Supporting my belly in my hands, I laid down on the bed sideways, pushing my stomach out to let it rest on the bed, and focused on relaxing and taking deep breaths and not thinking about the fullness and pressure. For the first few minutes, there were surprisingly mild cramps, hardly any more than just a moment of slight discomfort as the water and green tea solution shifted around. My belly was actually starting to get used to the fullness and I was comfortable enough to roll over from side to side, listening and feeling as the solution ran up and down back and forth across my colon.
Resting on my side again, I focused on my breathing and just enjoyed the sensation of fullness with no cramps or urge to release at all. Before I knew it, I had been holding for 90 minutes! Given how comfortable it was, even as I got up and walked around, I decided it would be worth trying more volume. I held my belly while I refilled the open top bag with very warm water, right to the top. Getting down on my knees, and putting my face down to the floor with my rear raised high in the air, I carefully slipped out the small plug and inserted the douche nozzle, and popped the clamp all the way in and let it run in quickly.
After about one and a half quarts, I very briefly had to stop the flow while my insides cramped and let the water flow even deeper up inside. Once the discomfort passed, I opened the flow wide again and focused on taking deep breaths and waiting for the bag to drain. In little more than a minute, I heard it sucking empty! I quickly shut the clamp and stood up, removing the nozzle. The pressure in my belly was incredible - even the top of my belly felt physically stretched and pushed outward. It felt so tight, almost painful but not quite, and I really did look pregnant. 4.5 quarts total - the all time record for me! This time it was a lot more difficult to hold, and I didn't try to wait out the first cramp. The release and relief of pressure felt wonderful, and the water just kept gushing out almost nonstop for several minutes. I massaged my stomach a lot, coaxing more water out from deep inside, and eventually after 20 minutes had gotten all or almost all of it out. I was amazed that I could hold that much - and that I could hold comfortably for over an hour!
