I made this post on another site a while back. Was just curious what kind of response I would get here from anyone with a similar interest, or just anyone in general. Hope you enjoy...
"Drop `em, coach."
Those were the words that I heard from my dad's doc when I sat in on one of his physicals as a kid. The doc had already ordered him to remove his shirt, shoes and sox. And it was time for the hernia and prostate exams. I sat in the chair next to the doc's desk as I heard those words come from the doc's mouth - and watched in complete confusion as my dad complied. Didn't he know it was wrong to show your private parts to someone else?
And that's how my interest in med exams started.
I've been fortunate to have several doctors perform physicals on me. All with their different flares. One of my docs was former military and demanded that I be nude for the entire exam. After his arrival in the exam room and going over my history, he'd say "Strip down, son." And then he would finish making notes as I bared all.
I've had another doc have me take my clothes off as the exam progressed, using the phrase, "Time to drop trou" when it came time for the hernia exam. Another doc has used the phrase "Slip down your shorts." And I remember another using the words, "Take down your trousers."
So what words or phrase does your doc or have your previous docs used to get you to either strip at the start, or drop your shorts at the point and time of the hernia/prostate exams?
